Gura, the first woman warrior in Aris❷, as born in Galactic Aris Era ❸4183 when King Yiles❹ was in power. In her early times, women in Aris have always been discriminated and even lose their living abilities. They were banned to join the army or get into the district of high-end estate. However, this had been all changed thanks to the contribution of Gura.
When she was a child, her father, a privilege official in Fire 7 Palace❺, made a decision to threw her out to anywhere secretly in order to conceal that he had got a daughter--a shame of his outstanding work. Fortunately, Hydroge❻, her mother, kept on feeding her until she was sent to another city to make a living. When Gura grew up to 130 years old, she made up her mind to live by herself after staying quietly in a desolate area for such a long time. Knowing that Longden❼ was a great place for the poor to develop, she left for there by hiding on a city-trade train.
During the time getting adapted to Longden, she often snatched capitalists’ bread❽ and shared them with hungry people. Owing to her inherent agility and strength, no one could run after her or fight against her. Then she got a little known in Longden, as the poor here regarded her as a heroine. Despite the fact that the rich in Longden didn’t care for the hungry thieves, they also been annoyed about Gura who snatched food impolitely and sometimes injured their guards. A royal minister accused Gura of fighting in an identity of female. Not long after that, Gura was caught and sent to a boarding school in Water 1 Palace City. A new journey for her would just begun.
The school in Water 1 Palace City was called Aris Water 1 Palace Saving Junior High❾. Women who were sent to here were taught to serve faithfully and considerately for men. They mainly learned the skill of designing or making weapons or armors which was for providing the battle to male. Nevertheless, women there couldn’t realize that they were just tools used by male. They were numb to be controlled by others. Gura was different from them. She wanted to develop herself to become powerful. She realized that living in a bad situation earlier has made her got a formidable body and strong soul. The headmaster Yeler❶⓪had beheld her difference. He once stated in public, “The one who possess great talent and moral will always keep alone” ❶❶.Gura hardly ever talked to others, except taking orders in canteen or answering questions, so Yeler often rendezvous her to communicate, and the topic of dialogue usually came to some predictive developments. Yeler thought Gura met enormous interest for military affairs, as Gura didn’t want end up being a plain servant. So he adjusted Gura into another school without other woman. The tuition fee was canceled❶❷.
Aris Water 1 Palace Superior Army Guidance College❶❸, a perfect platform for many students, gave Gura an opportunity to change her fate. Gura became more violent and aggressive there as well as persistent and glitter. She hurt classmates and offended the teachers every semester and even sent them to hospital with her fist. Not dealing with others or getting along with them, Gura was charged many times, but Yeler insisted on maintaining the privilege for her. After Yeler died from diseases in GAE 4735, Gura was speedily dismissed by the Water 1 Palace government.
Gura had no alternative but to come back to her hometown with her money gifted by Yeler ’s family. She ultimately found her relatives all moved out or being persecuted in the past years because of the invasion of Bendiens. With tears welling up in her eyes, she annihilate the Bendia Guard Waster❶❹ and slayed the Bendiens to frighten the Bendia Army. Instead of withdrawal, Bendia emerged to announce an enormous war. At that time, a prime minister Famas❶❺ gave advice arresting Gura gifting her to Bendia in order to finish the contradictory increasing between two countries. King Yiles had nothing to say to beat them. But Gura was so living-oriented that the whole army couldn’t catch her. After Copiro and Luwa❶❻ solved the crisis and made the peace, Famas gave up finding her.
In GAE 4930, Batha Au❶❼ came into power. Although Gura stuck to counting her blessings, Luwa took on a great emphasis on her and gave her high appreciations. Gura was adopted by Aris Fourth Royal Army❶❽ and soon foot upon the position of chief by virtue of her diligence and leadership. She rebuilt the legal system of the Army and encouraged women to join in the army. Luwa accepted her policy and put it into practice in Aris Second Royal Army❶❾. Being women soldier became a popular atmosphere at that time. Women who were passionate about army and fighting started to participate in the society arose from the new policy proposed by Gura. Then at GAE 5707, an article named Female Warrior❷⓪ written by Luwa first treated Gura, Fecy, Mariyee and Enger as “Aris TOP 4 Greatest Female Warriors”❷❶. Among them, Gura was the TOP 1 which indicated that Gura had undoubtedly become the most valuable female warrior in Aris or even the whole Galaxy.
To demonstrate Gura ’s aptitude,Luwa decided on moving her into Aris Forbidden Army❷❷, which was named Super Ghost Army in GAE 5813, and appointed her with a captain of Red Ghost Detachment. Gura changed the mechanism of selecting members and voting. As a consequence, Red Ghost Detachment got a notable status and became the strongest one among all the three detachments. Gura recruited abundantly and fostered the member ‘s perseverance, which made Red Ghost Detachment successful. Luwa felt beyond satisfied.
In GAE 5930, Jelay Lu❷❸ came into power. Drifiring❷❹, the first son of Loutes❷❺, lose his heart in Gura for her military talent. Not long after that, he wrote a long message to show his obsess for Gura. But Gura didn’t want to pay attention to affection as well as depending royalty. She refused Drifiring ’s invitation down and threw his letter into the fireplace. While Gura made use of Drifiring to beat against King Jelay ‘s third son, Jean❷❻,Drifiring broke the old commitment and wrote a letter to attack her❷❼. He was arrested when Pour Riok❷❽ came into power for just 2 days. Gura worked hard during the complex wars, she got massive achievements such as the champion of dirigible driving❷❾. Gura also embarked to learn literature and languages. Although the scale in Red Ghost Detachment decreased, Luwa was still thinking highly of her. In the Galactic War I❸⓪, Gura made a great contribution to fighting against the universe pirates and alien clans. “Gura is to Luwa what Methphydra is to Copiro.”❸❶ says Pour Riok.
When the Super Ghost Army fought around the planets, Gura recommended Grifir❸❷ to Luwa and insisted that Grifir would be an outstanding warrior. Whereas, this manner ambushed the failure of them, with making Gura controversial to the late world.
Grifir was adept at law and armor, so his job was to contain all warrior’ s arms.❸❸ It’s an important and functional task. In GAE 7948, while Pour Riok committed corruption and convicted Luwa as a betrayer, Gura had no choice but to follow Luwa to leave Aris. Then it came to the Galactic War II❸❹. It continued around 1000 years until Grifir made espionage for Pour Riok and beat the Super Ghost Army on the Blue and White Planet❸❺. At that time, Gura regretted to recommend Grifir 1000 years ago, but it did nothing help to restore Luwa’ s Army. They hided in the Blue and White Planet for more than 1000 years later. In GAE 9968, Luwa restarted his enterprise and got the ambition to renewal. However, Gura made a great strategy mistake which led them to failure again.❸❻ While Amithue❸❼ changed his mind and decided for escaping away, Gura got mad for him and punished him which made Luwa angry as Amithue was adopted by Luwa since he was tiny.
Ultimately, natives of the Blue and White Planet beat the Super Ghost Army with the Aris arms kept by Grifir 1000 years ago. Gura finally saved Luwa with the only dirigible. As they had killed plenty of creatures in the Blue and White Planet, the natives didn’t be willing to let them escape. They hit the spaceship AFS0002❸❽ on an equipment basis. Knowing couldn’t came back to Aris, Gura embarked the spontaneous detonation pattern of her dirigible❸❾. The most valuable Aris Female Warrior, who owed numerous beings’ lives debt, breathed her last in the space in GAE 9969. Luwa burnt the spaceship and committed suicide as there’s no hope to come back Aris and live alone.
Louis Bader❹⓪, the King after Pour Riok, announced to forgive their guilt. He gave Gura the glory of “The Most Valuable Aris Female Warrior” in GAE 10130.❹❶ Gura became a reminder of gender equality when people talked about female warrior, as well as the great one who built a fair platform for all of Aris females. But the innocent lives she snatched would always stayed there, with nobody remember them.

库拉（4183-9969），字无仙，译作Gura。“K”是“赤冥”音译的缩写，全称为Kiluma（阿瑞斯语中该词汇衍生自阿芳扎语中的“力量”单词）。“紫冥”全称Bisa，常缩写为“B”；灰冥全称Shanor，常缩写为“S”。以上音译均出自雷水《阿瑞斯:帝国枭雄神史》，文中称谓军赐名时用音译缩写，而在称谓军队名时用意译（如Red Ghost Detachment代表“赤冥分队”）。在金先著《正二十八传》中，赤冥、紫冥、灰冥军赐名分别译作汉语姓氏“库”“巴”“沙”（“安迷修”没有军赐名，保留生父姓氏；“乔奢费”在译著时保留其贵族原姓氏，一般认为是彰显其尊贵身份），后世沿用甚广。
❷Aris：阿瑞斯。由于金先译本通行最广，故本注释阐述雷水所用英文词汇时默认以金先译本解释，有特殊说明的除外，以下同。

❹King Yiles：翼斯王。白奉译作“亲翼帝”。翼斯王是阿瑞斯第六代执政王，畅行无为之政，金先称其“滋养了阿瑞斯第一批贪官”。阿瑞斯执政王详见本系列第六期注释。
❺Fire 7 Palace：火七宫。下文的Water 1 Palace City即水一宫城。阿瑞斯五行宫制详见本系列第六期注释。库拉之父夷晟（1763-）是当时火七宫宫门侍卫，地位不高。关于雷水不记述夷晟名姓的缘由，历来众说纷纭，主要有两种说法：一种认为夷晟尚在，雷水记述其弃女历史有抹黑攻击之嫌；一种认为雷水鄙夷夷晟弃女的行为，故以略过其名的方式反讽其地位微渺而爱慕虚荣的特质。
❻Hydroge：爱吕钠，库拉生母。阿瑞斯女子取名习惯见本系列第一期注释。
❼Longden：笼荡城，隶属木区管辖，因城区社会风貌迥异，被誉为阿瑞斯“穷人之乡”。雷水初译本写作“Longdon”，后为避免与London歧义改作“Longden”。
❽bread：三重麦加工产品，即基因粘合剂，俗称“基因饼”。三重麦，阿瑞斯四大粮食作物之一。阿瑞斯四大粮食作物详见本系列第六期注释。
❾Aris Water 1 Palace Saving Junior High：阿瑞斯水一宫救济院。救济院在阿瑞斯属于非正式学校规格，只收编社会下层不具备战斗能力或失去战斗能力的劳苦大众，教导生员从业大型器械制造，责令生员无偿劳动。初制救济院院长是尚擎（1202-6755），他被金先称作“阿瑞斯头号资本家”。银历5883年，节圣王推行教育改革，第一项决策便是公示取缔全国上下一切救济院，改为正常编制学堂。
❶⓪Yeler：伛尔（1697-4735），时任水一宫救济院院长。伛尔有强大的政治后台，故在阿瑞斯有相当大的发言权；他倾尽一生帮助库拉，原因不详，但后世对此有争议。阿瑞斯史料中有关于库拉在伛尔坟前哭诉的记述，但具体内容已不可考据。
❶❶The one who possess great talent and moral will always keep alone：大德大才者，多一意孤行。白奉译作“德众者行寡道”。这句话在后世阿瑞斯广为流传，亦成为阿瑞斯“烂大街”名言之一。
❶❷The tuition fee was canceled：阿瑞斯当时有“代支学费协议”，此处是伛尔遵循协议代支了学费。
❶❸Aris Water 1 Palace Superior Army Guidance College：阿瑞斯水一宫高级军事指挥学院，主要培养阿瑞斯军事指挥人才。当时由于阿瑞斯的性别偏见，指挥学院只收录男性学员。
❶❹Bendia Guard：百连朵防卫军。Waster是将领名，在阿瑞斯通行的译本中无汉译名。下文Bendiens意为“百连朵人”。百连朵详见本系列第六期注释。百连朵防卫军徒有其名，表面上称作“防卫军”，实则是百连朵发动侵略战争的工具。
❶❺Famas：福莫斯（2011-7824），阿瑞斯朝臣，主张激进的极权主义，7008年参与第一次银河大战，7824年临凯旋时被路法怀疑叛变，被路法的部属巴鲁斩首。
❶❻Copiro and Luwa：Copiro即克佩罗（前1573-4900），阿瑞斯最古老的将军之一；Luwa即路法（前1046-9968），后成为银河总长。二人都是阿瑞斯善战人格的典范。

❷❹Drifiring：德炎（4076-6882），是洛托斯五个养子中的老四，曾倾慕库拉并为其作书信，有《德炎敬无仙书》（白奉译本）。德炎生性残暴，杀人如麻，但在遇到库拉之后决心改态，后洛托斯谋反失策后归隐江湖。银历6882年，路法谋划行刺即将继位的皮尔，缺少扶衬，便令库拉寄信利用德炎刺杀皮尔王，同时煽动朝中将士拼阳策反。刺杀计划以失败告终后，路法利用皮尔的信任将罪过全部推给德炎和拼阳，皮尔王即下令处死德炎与拼阳，德炎临终又作《囚中恨情》（白奉译本），语言激烈反动，其中称库拉为“泼妇”（白奉译，原文是阿瑞斯形容牲畜的词汇），称路法为“佞贼”（白奉译，原文是阿瑞斯形容有重大罪恶者的词汇）。德炎在赴死前精神疯癫，吵吵嚷嚷，被狱卒杀死（宝端《阿瑞斯近代史》记述）。
❷❺Loutes：洛托斯（前1037-5994），德炎养父，曾封卞下王。洛托斯详见本系列第一期注释。其五个养子按年龄从长到幼依次为德鑫、德淼、德森、德炎、德圭，皆未落得好下场。金先译著《阿瑞斯近代史》后记：“德鑫贪利，金属；德淼软弱，水属；德森麻木，木属；德炎彪悍，火属；德圭堕落，土属。”五行配德取名是金先所译，阿瑞斯原名与地球五行并无关联。雷水译有：德鑫Drimony，德淼Driflow，德森Driwood，德炎Drifiring，德圭Driearth。皆参照金先译本。
❷❻Jean：节安（3288-8823），节圣王第二个儿子，节圣王不甚器重他。银历6882年节圣退位后，叮嘱节安“切勿从政，远离殿心城”，于是节安迁户至金二宫谋生。银历8809年,节安忧心国事，背弃父劝，返回殿心城。银历8823年，节安发现皮尔王贪污的证据，上书议会指控皮尔王，不料此时议会早已沦为皮尔王的工具，他们向皮尔王告发事实，节安很快被皮尔王敕令处死。《阿瑞斯近代史》述路法此处不是想对付节安，而是想对付皮尔王，此处雷水参照的是《阿瑞斯传说》中的说法。
❷❼wrote a letter to attack her：此信即《囚中恨情》（白奉译本，原文无“囚中”字样），一般认为是德炎被逮捕以后所作。此处雷水参照《阿瑞斯传说》中的说法，认为是逮捕前所作。

❷❾the champion of dirigible driving：库拉夺得的冠军是“阿瑞斯舰艇驾驶星球锦标赛”第三十六届冠军（6994），该比赛包含三个流程：驾驶理论、定向竞速、搏击对抗。该比赛每一百年举办一届，于银历3394年由托轮王首次举办，旨在选拔阿瑞斯优秀舰艇驾驶人才，是阿瑞斯规模最大、最有含金量的舰艇驾驶赛事。此赛事冠军亦称“银河系舰艇驾驶冠军”。

❸❶Gura is to Luwa what Methphydra is to Copiro：库拉之于路谋士，如少杰之于克佩罗。少杰（2048-），原克佩罗旗下重臣，军事才能昭著，代表作有《战子备术》，与杜血、阳昭并称“凌云三杰”，以后会详细介绍。此处是皮尔王形容库拉在路法门下发挥的作用之关键。
❸❷Grifir：戈尔法（2367-8948），当时为幽冥军团巡逻兵，被库拉举荐后破格提拔为铠门都尉。铠门都尉详见本系列第一期。银历7947年，戈尔法假装向路法请示“归家探母”，借机诱导令影和神刚脱离路法势力，投奔皮尔王。但鉴于戈尔法曾为路法旗下重臣，皮尔王便撤销三人禁军赐名，改以代号单称，并下令将戈尔法等人贬至七万光年以外的胡蜍鬃星系（即地球的比邻星系，胡蜍鬃是阿瑞斯的猛兽，阿瑞斯常以猛兽为遥远星系命名）长期执行巡逻任务。银历8002年戈尔法与令影、神刚抵达胡蜍鬃星系，开启巡逻生涯。银历8958年，戈尔法到太阳系征税时误打误撞遇见幽冥军团，便根据王命展开围剿。大战在蓝白星收尾，戈尔法三人最终在蓝白星军队（即北宋军与契丹军）的帮助下将幽冥军团击溃，并将各首领扣押，却唯独释放了库拉。此段内容以后会详细介绍。

❸❽AFS0002：阿法斯号的编码。阿法斯号是阿瑞斯星先进飞船，配备有阿瑞斯注册装备离子歼星炮。路法离开阿瑞斯前命旗下神盗巴菲格在阿瑞斯航天安全中心夺得阿法斯号的控制权。但巴菲格的行迹已在前一天被安迷修以“讲和”之由泄露给皮尔王。巴菲格最终被皮尔王俘虏杀害，但阿法斯号控制权已经成功转移。此事件被《阿瑞斯近代史》称为“盗宝库泄密”。
❸❾Gura embarked the spontaneous detonation pattern of her dirigible：阿瑞斯所有的个人驾驶飞船都配备有自爆装置，且启动方式简单直接。银历9976年阿瑞斯的调查数据显示，阿瑞斯以往一千年中，死于个人驾驶飞船的人数高达70亿，约占阿瑞斯意外伤亡事件的13%；启动飞船自爆的人数约占死于个人驾驶飞船人数的71%，其中，因误触而启动飞船自爆的人数超过50%。直到银历9979年，阿瑞斯武装部部长洞侠（4444-）下令重新设计飞船操作系统，这一数据才有所改善。但阿瑞斯的飞船驾驶教育压力也因此进一步加大。
❹⓪Louis Bader：路易士王，银历9968年继位，白奉译作“路易帝”。阿瑞斯执政王详见本系列第六期注释。
❹❶He gave Gura the glory of “The Most Valuable Aris Female Warrior” in GAE 10130：银历10130年，路易士王举行大规模历史经验总结行动，召集十代旧臣共议史话，修订《阿瑞斯新史》（白奉译本），对既往历史人物给出了客观中肯的评价，并对阿瑞斯政权建设作出了经验总结。《阿瑞斯新史》白奉译本，是金先最推崇的一部阿瑞斯鸿篇巨著，金先称之为“阿瑞斯史学无上之峰”，并称白奉的翻译为“阿瑞斯翻译学无比之宝”。著作中，库拉被评价为“兴女家之业，开后世，立行标；失女子之雅，乱公义，积罪阵”，并有《评无仙》（节圣王时期朝臣文灵作）一文收录。
