1. statute & statue

statute n. 法令, 法规
e.g. Protection for the consumer is laid down by statute.
保障消费者利益已在法令里作了规定。
Statute这个词曾在2013年考研英语考试中出现：“The White House argued that Arizona’s laws conflicted with its enforcement priorities, even if state laws complied with federal statues to the letter. ”
白宫辩称，即使亚利桑那州的法律严格遵守了联邦法规，但这法律仍与其执行优先权相冲突。短语federal statutes表示联邦法规。

statue n. 雕像，塑像 vt. 以雕像装饰
e.g. There is a marble statue on the corner of the street.

2. premier & premiere

premier adj. 第一的；最初的 n. 总理，首相

3. guild & guilt

guild n. 协会，行会；同业公会

e.g. He admitted his guilt to the police.
