作品《黄河船夫曲》是为一只中国竹笛而创作，旨在挖掘中国竹笛的各种演奏技术和音响表现潜能。乐曲以中国民歌《黄河船夫曲》作为主题材料，借船夫号子的情绪结构为音乐的线索，使竹笛各种技术有序展开。作曲者希望在保留竹笛特有音响和中国音乐独特思维方式的基础上，糅合西方现代音乐的多种技法，使炫技的作品同时具有音乐可听性和中国文化的特质。
A short guide to the piece
The Boatmen’s Song in the Yellow River a piece is for Chinese flute solo (Dizi), aiming at its expressive potential of the techniques and acoustics. The theme is based on the Chinese folk song, taking the motional structure of the work song as the clue of the piece, and the various techniques of Dizi hereby developing in order. On the basis of maintaining the typical acoustics of the Dizi and way of thinking of Chinese music, the composer intends to put together the Chinese elements and techniques of western contemporary music. Therefore, the bravura piece is not only pleasant to hear ,but also possesses particularity of Chinese culture.
