1-写作逻辑

三步走：先道歉——解释原因——再次表示歉意+改约

题目如下：

Suppose you have to cancel your travel plan and will not be able to visit Professor Smith. Write him an email to   

1) apologize and explain the situation, and   

2) suggest a future meeting.   

You should write about 100 words on the ANSWER SHEET. 

Do not use your own name. Use “Li Ming” instead.   

Do not write your address. (10 points)

假设你不得不取消旅行计划，不能去拜访史密斯教授。给他写封电子邮件 

1)道歉并解释情况 

2)建议以后见面。 

你应该在答题纸上写大约100个单词。 

不要使用你自己的名字。用“李明”代替。 

不要写你的地址。(10分)

Dear Professor Smith(道歉的对象),

①I write with a bit of bad news—unfortunately, it looks like I will no longer be able to travel to Boston/attend the conference(原定计划、但不能做到的事情) next week(原定时间). ②Long story short, I will have to stay in Beijing for at least another two weeks to lead my team in the upcoming pitch competition/deal with an unexpected problem(因什么理由耽误原定计划). ③The organizers just pushed out an earlier submission option with a February 15th deadline./The problem is so serious that it needs to be solved as soon as possible.(必须要做的事情，解释不能按原定计划的理由) 

尊敬的史密斯教授(道歉的对象): 

①我带着一个坏消息写信——不幸的是，我似乎不能再前往波士顿/参加会议(原定计划，但不能做到的事情) 下周(原定时间)。②长话短说，我将不得不在北京至少再呆两周，带领我的团队参加即将到来的创业比赛/处理一个意想不到的问题。③主办方刚刚推出了一个更早的提交方案，最后期限是2月15日。/这个问题很严重，需要尽快解决。(必须要做的事情，解释不能按原定计划的理由)
