To contextualize the lesson.

Good evening, everyone!

Tonight's key word is music.

So first, I will sing some lines for you to guess what these songs are.

Hey Jude

Lemon Tree

You raise me up

Sing a song to your partner / the rest of the class to let them guess the name.

- Test 1  5 min

(e.g. SS do gap-fill, definition-matching, categorising, ordering, discussion, role-play) 

Look at the pairs of sentences. Circle the right form with your partner in 3 min

1. I remember to hear / hearing that song the first time we met.

Please remember to buy / buying me those concert tickets.

2. Don’t forget to listen / listening to that song. You’ll love it!

I’ll never forget to go / going to my first live concert.

3. I need to change / changing the CD I bought Mark. He’s already got it.

You are going to a live concert with your partner. 

Brainstorm together / in two groups anything you have to prepare before you go to the concert in 3 min.

e.g. take the ticket. recharge the cell phone. bring your id card.

Work in pairs. Remind the student from the other group to be fully prepared before the concert in 7 min.
