How does the time limit for grazing work, does he still have time to add the Traveler Characteristic? If I remember correctly it has to be before the target is dead but I’m not sure if it’s actual death or the later dissipation of the spirt body.
Either way at minimum he got a Traveler Characteristic worth around 8000 pounds (with a buyer later) and a mystical ring powerful enough for a Sequence 5 to rely on to save himself. Still peeved that Fors has given him almost nothing but I still haven’t completely up hope on that front. Even if it’s just something intangible like formally pledging herself to The Fool after The World’s obvious hints.

He can graze a dead target as long as their spirit doesn't dissipate - remember he did this with Steel Maveti. On the issue of Fors, a deal is a deal. It might seem like he went at a loss but I don't completely agree with that.
1. He wanted to eliminate an Oracle of the Aurora order after hearing of Fors' request. This would reduce any latent danger for him (my guess)
2. She did provide resources, some temporary i.e. Leymano's spellbook, others permanent i.e. the rock used to travel. She also gave him all the info he needed.
Yes, it was a risk but he did agree to it.
3. Most importantly, he said all the spoils are his apart from the head of Mr. X.
He was rather certain of succeeding after all his plans and escaping safely. Now, he has several spoils from killing a bad guy.
I wouldn't say it's a loss. We've also seen that even in the tarot club, the so called equivalent exchange, the member feel like it's a steal being able to get a "deity" to help directly.
But we the readers know that Klein is doing all these to set up a stable foundation plus help out when it's not too inconvenient and he actually benefits by such an image

Klein’s wealth is truly growing at an absurd rate. He has over 17000 pounds cash (though he is in debt 6000) and ~80000 pounds worth of items before including some of the more difficult or impossible to price items (Dark Emperor Card + Sea God Scepter + Grosselle’s Travels + Luck Siphon Charm + New Ruby Ring + Wraith Senor). Just this one hunt alone made him at least 10000 pounds and likely closer to 20000 if the ring is as powerful as I believe. Less than a year ago he was debating whether or not he could afford an extra Soli to get a nicer cane.
It’ll also be interesting to see if he learns anything interesting from the Interrogator he promised to release from Creeping Hunger. At minimum I imagine he will gain a few more formulas including the Interrogator formula and characteristic. It is likely Xio will eventually purchase both of these (800-1000 pounds + 1200-1800 pounds = ~2400 pounds) even if she currently can’t afford to do so. Perhaps he will have her do something(s) for him instead as he isn’t strapped for cash right now, but I can’t imagine what.
I’m somewhat curious about Xio in general as she has been hovering around the edge of the story for awhile now. She already has a connection to The Fool and has been somewhat close to MI9 Gold Mask demigod for awhile now so something has to hAppen eventually.
Curious about the ruby ring, looking forward to the island exploration and hoping he trusts Audrey enough to have her help Dwayne Dantès climb the ladder in high society. Tracy should be interesting too. A great future awaits us :)

I think he’s seriously underestimating Flower of Blood. Even if he can’t risk using it immediately in a fight due to its negative effects he can absolutely come home and put it on in a safe environment to quickly heal all his injuries and even regrow limbs. This can even allow someone to take more risks in a fight if they know they won’t end up permanently disabled. The insurance factor is really great.
Worst case scenario as well it should be possible to extract the characteristic/ingredient and sell that directly or sell it to an Artisan or collector like Stanton for cheap. Of course it’s perfectly comparable with a Marionettist so no need for any of that.
What do you guys think it’s worth. It seems to be related to Rose Bishop powers but only one power. However one could also sell the services of this ring and provide miracle healing if they chose. 5000-8000 pounds? It seems better than the Biological Poison Bottle for sure and Klein wanted 5200 for that. 10000 pounds is probably too much so I’ll tentatively consider it 8000 for now in the stash - let me know if you have a different opinion!

The negative effects of Flower of Blood are actually quite random: it could be as simple as forgetting to take it off, or as crazy as completely losing the ability of thinking, so Klein would not dare to take the risk, unless he had no other choices. However, I think you were right in some sense, since Klein could find someone to supervise and help him to take it off after healing himself.

It's possible, remember it's been stated before that some pathways counter others. I think the Abyss pathway at the Desire Apostle sequence is the nemesis of Demoness pathways Pleasure sequence. Though maybe not since at Unwinged Angel/Coolblooded sequence the beyonder "indulges in their evil desires" which may include lust....

The Feysacian captain should be the former owner of Creeping Hunger, or someone related to him. And Creeping Hunger is an item related to the True Creator (Shepherd ability). That's reason enough to investigate its origins and past owners further, especially if it's at nearly no cost to himself.

Really seems like Hazel is being set up as a new Tarot Club member. After all Fors is the weakest and she has already been a Sequence 7 for awhile now, with two extremely powerful Sequences coming up for her. Hazel certainly seems very weak (I’d be shocked if she was beyonder Sequence 8 Swindler) at the moment so it wouldn’t do if she was permanently behind the rest with how fast the story moves.
On the other hand she does seem like a rare ‘good person’ which is especially interesting because of the Pathway she belongs to. I don’t think such a thing would be emphasized quite so much for another reason. She does seem rather impressionable as well which is great from The Fool’s perspective as ensuring her loyalty and preventing complications should be much easier. I wonder what she has been doing in the sewers...

The members all add connections or an organization. I don't see yet what Hazel can offer that is unique.
塔罗会成员们要么能拉新人进来，要么背后有个组织。目前看来我不觉得海柔尔能提供什么独特的资源。

The connections aspect is true but that was never why they were chosen. It was mainly because of the unknown magical item they had that allowed The Fool to see them. Fors and Emlyn got to join after praying to The Fool. Fors and Cattleya also both were about to die/lose control when the Fool noticed them so he had to bring them above the fog to save them. It's more of a coincidence or "fate" that the group ended up with such diverse connections
人脉资源的部分的确如此，但这从来都不是他们被选中的原因。这主要是因为他们手里那个未知的神秘物品，让愚者能够和他们建立联系。佛尔思和埃姆林是在向愚者祈祷之后加入的。佛尔思和嘉德丽雅如果没有愚者的注视，早就死了/失控了，所以他必须得把她们带上灰雾才能救她们的命。这群人最后都能带来各种不同的人脉资源，更像是一种巧合或者“命运”。

Well she managed to find a decently powerful mystical item. There's a decent chance we just don't know yet. Most importantly though a lot of members weren't actually chosen for reasons like that and just ended up with connections. Derrick was picked without Klein knowing anything about him, Klein knew Fors had nothing to offer and she didn't encounter her teacher till later. Audrey and Alger are the same but that was before he even considered such things. Even though Cattleya is connected he didn't know anything about her when he brought her up initially. The only person Klein knew had a backing/connections beforehand is Emlyn.

Her addition would certainly be interesting since now Klein have collected all the sequence Roselle wishes he walked. Also right now the gender in the Tarot club is balanced so adding her would not change the dynamic too much.
Actually I am liking this idea more and more. I really like to see this sassy young lady get into a verbal spar with Emlyn. It's a battle of immaturity versus delusion of grandeur.
她的加入肯定会很有意思，因为目前克莱恩已经收集齐了罗赛尔当时希望自己选的所有序列。而且目前塔罗会的性别比例也挺平衡，所以加她一个也不会对形式造成太大变化。
其实我越来越喜欢这个主意了。我真的很想看到这位厚脸皮的小姐和埃姆林进行一些口头交锋。这应该会是一场幼稚和妄想之间的大战。

(It's nice how so far it hasn't been possible to guess from sequence whether someone will be a Tarot Club member or not--some characters joining fast, some characters never having joined thus far.)
（目前想要通过序列猜出谁能加入塔罗会，谁不能加入塔罗会基本是不可能的，这样挺好的——有些人很快就加入了塔罗会，而有些人目前看来从来都没有加入的机会）

Many of the Abraham family have quit the Beyonder family path. And those that remain, dare not go beyond sequence 6 or 5, as it increases the Blood Moon insanity effect of Mr Door. With seq 6 scribe, though, they can still teleport using the Traveler's Doorway, but that power itself is really risky as it exposes them more to Mr Door's greetings. Fors technically should not have heard Mr Door as she is not of the family blood, so like Lewis, but she used the traveler's bracelet artifact.
