汉译英节气专题24个节气即将完成春天的全系列，现在进行到了第五个节气“清明”。

清明是二十四节气中的第五个节气。清明时，气朗风清，万物皆显，因此得名。清明既是节气，又是节日。清明的气候是春耕春种的不二之选；而清明节，是人们寄托对故人的哀思的日子，也是鼓励后人奋发图强的日子。除了祭祀故人之外，人们以各种方式缅怀英烈，鼓励年轻一代人为国家的繁荣贡献自己的力量。此外，清明也正是春意盎然时，自然界到处生机勃勃，正是郊游的大好时光。此时出外踏青，能更好的亲近大自然，也对健康大有裨益。清明节如今已经是国家级非物质文化遗产。

Pure Brightness is the fifth traditional Chinese solar term. During this time, people will enjoy a full breath of pure air, and lives will thrive vigorously in the bright spring, which bring the solar term the name “Qing Ming” (in English: pure brightness) . The climate during Pure Brightness is also perfect for spring sowing. The festival, Qing Ming, or Tomb Sweeping Festival, is a day for people to pay their condolences to their deceased relatives（缅怀故人）, also a day to inspire new generations to fight hard. Apart from paying tribute to the ones passed away（pay tribute to... 向……表达敬意，缅怀某人）, people would also honor our heroes and martyrs（英烈） in various forms and invigorate young generations to bring out their best for the prosperity of our country. Besides, Pure Brightness is also a period of full spring, during which everything in nature is with full youth and vigor, therefore, it is also a wonderful time for spring outing. Going sightseeing now during Pure Brightness is both a way to get closer to the nature and benefit physical health.
