夫戍边关妾在吴，西风吹妾妾忧夫。

一行书信千行泪，寒到君边衣到无？ 

in capital's walls I bide

as thou art northward

where bleak gale doth storm

fill my heart with fear

Missing thee, my dearest one

thy cloak I pray thee

hast kept thee warm

and this brief missive

drenched in tears, hast reached thee well

oh, how I long to be near
