Big Words简要总结（1-20期：记诵）

1. wrong=spurious  a.站不住脚的

≈untenable ≈ plausible 

2. depend on=is predicated on 建立在…基础上

（If an idea or argument is predicated on sth, it depends on the existence or truth of this thing.）

断言：predicate/assert/aver/maintain

3. question=impugn  v.质疑

（to cause people to doubt someone's character, qualities, or reputation by criticizing them）

4. disgraceful=humiliating=ignominious  a.可耻的
