Background:

Modern distance education is not only an important part of adult education, but also  a  major  measure  to  the  construction  of  learning  society  in  China. 

Educational administration  management  is  a  significant  way  to  ensure  the  quality  of  modern distance  education  and  promote  educational  equity.  B

 

Methods:

interviewing  the  students participating in modern distance education and the relevant educational administration management personnel,  as well as  collecting and sorting out the  relevant  documents of Modern Distance Education in the University. 

 

What:

Through  investigation  and  research,  researchers  found  that  with  the  rapid development  of  modern  distance  education,  educational  administration  management problems  are  increasingly  prominent,  which  are  manifested  in  the  unreasonable arrangement  of  teaching  plans,  the  poor  compatibility  of  teaching  contents  and  the insufficient  feedback  of  teaching  effects,  etc.  in  the  aspect  of  teaching  management.

There  are  problems  such  as  the  fuzzy  scale  of  examination,  the  lack  of pre-examination training and the lax management of examination room, etc. in terms of examination management. In respect of teaching staff management, it appears that the teachers' enthusiasm  is  poor, the quality  of educational administrators  is  uneven,and there is a lack of training and evaluation mechanism .

 

Why:

The main reason lies in the excessive pursuit of economic interests, the inaccurate and unclear positioning of their roles  in  modern  distance  education,  and  the  weak  awareness  of standardized management of the pilot universities and learning centers.

These problems reduce the educational  administration  level  of  modern  distance  education  and  restrict  its development. 

 

How:

This  paper  puts  forward countermeasures and suggestions to solve the above problems:

first, linking all forces to ensure the quality of educational administration management;

second, focusing on process  management  and  optimizing  teaching  management; 

third,  refining  process standards  and  standardizing  examination  management; 

fourth,  strengthening  teacher management and improving teacher resource.
