一、单词记忆

我们初中的时候学过honest，诚实的，取前面的3个字母hon后面加上or，表示人，诚实的人是值得大家尊敬的。

英式：honour 美式：honor

1.n，意为“尊敬；荣幸；高尚品德；荣誉”。

常见搭配：

(1)in honour of，意为“为了纪念……；向……表示敬意”。有时可同in memory of互换。

The Dragon Boat Festival, for example, is celebrated in honour of Qu Yuan.
