While information about him being a shapeshifter gets out. That's a huge coincidence.... I kinda feel like all coincidences are the work of that bastard quill. -__- Same for bastard quill owner being made to dig at the ruin site while Klein is having that place scoped.

They may have a different plan before hand. Remember when Klein first went in the shapeshift, he change into a man who look similar to the admiral but not identical. The charm may just be something the admiral throw in as a additional carrot.

That’s also what I am getting out of this. If this is the case, Klein will have a heck of a situation on his hands lol.

Yeah, too many cliche protagonist keep on mucking up their mission or quest by indulging in personal desire or being personal drama into it. I guess the authors were trying to make it funny/dramatic but I just want to scream at the characters. Where is their professionalism and how the heck do they get their reputation is they screw around on the job so much.

Yeah, I'm not getting good vibes from that Lady. Not exactly eager for her to join the club. Then again... Imagine another devoted member so strategically placed 🤔

But it's true so far we haven't really found the commonalities between the items that originally highlighted Audrey, Alger, Derrick and Cattleya's stars to Klein's Gray Fog Domain. Only a single clue that Alger's and Cattleya's had somewhat similar Aura and they all breaks after the owners joined the Tarot Club.

Personally, I think it's going to be very interesting either way 😁

We kinda did get one other clue, and that's Roselle's metal plate and the white fog. At the very least, we now know that a certain design and corresponding symbols possesses the power to connect to the grey fog. While it's not necessarily connected to Klein's area "above the grey fog", it's not unlikely either as both were transmigrators from China. Since the "aura of the grey fog" seems to degrade over time, there must be something else pointing there. Could maybe be those symbols on the plate.

Have a bad feeling this is somehow orchestrated by those of Twilight Hermit Order though.

Yes, but, as they said, it seems Lilith's "place" has been usurped and some other entity has been posing as her and responding to prayers. I am confused, though. First because there's a relation to "stars", and we know the Star Pathway corresponds to the Goddess Evernight. Second because this "Mother Tree of Desire" has caracteristics that seem similar to the Devil Pathway (the Desire Apostle), and the Prisoner Pathway (or Mutant pathway) - the way Sharon said that the upper echelons of their organization changed their relation to desire, no longer restricting themselves... And also, the more obvious relation to the Primordial Demoness... But I doubt this entity is either the Goddess or the Primordial... My guess is she usurped the place of the Chained God and Ancestor Lilith, and acts now as them.

While other mc's plot armour attract good luck, Klein's always puts him in the middle of trouble, which is why he has become a professor of courting death. At least he has become good at defending his life.

Again, that escalated quickly. If Klein still claim his sequence is not known for physical toughness he deserve a smack on the back of the head. He literally got both of his eyeballs obliterated. The fact that he is still together enough to escape rather than twitching and screaming on the floor is batman level tough.

Also, nice to see Klein use a less seen ability.

Yeah how he's not screaming his lungs out when his freaking eyeballs detonated is one hell of a feat. As far as I know none of his Sequences power nor his items gave any supernatural Pain Detachment effect... maybe the Law Weaver's charm?

When someone suffers that kinda level of pain the body sometimes just shuts up the pain receptors temporarily until the danger is gone. Like sometimes when someone loses a finger they are chill with it until they get into the ambulance. Doesn’t always happen though.......

如果一个人总是承受某种级别的痛苦，那他的身体有时会干脆暂时关闭痛觉回路，直到危险已经过去。就像是有时候如果一个人丢了****，他们在上救护车之前都挺冷静的。不过这事也不常见……
