阿比盖尔·亚当斯夫人（Mrs. Abigail Adams），1744年11月22日（一说11月11日）生于英属北美殖民地马萨诸塞省韦茅斯一颇具影响的殖民地政治家族。父亲威廉·史密斯为公会理事长，母亲伊丽莎白。有姊妹3人。她自幼在芒特乌拉斯顿随祖母接受教育。
她是美国政界人物、女权运动先驱、书简作家，也是美国第2任总统约翰·亚当斯(John Adams)的夫人。第6任总统约翰·昆西·亚当斯的母亲。
1818年10月28日，73岁时因患伤寒去世。
