July 29th, 2021 Development Update

本周最为重要的就是 MSFS 在 Xbox Series X|S 上的正式发布，以及 simUpdate V 的更新。

是的跨平台的目标，多人在线同服务器的目标，是被耽误了太久？或是还不成熟？

这不是一次简单的版本更新，风险与机遇都将被直视，这不是一个自我迭代，影响到了所有第三方以及Mod开发者，在某些时候这种决断性的变更是必要的，没有什么问题是不能解决的，需要的只是时间，需要的只是包容。

正如 1.18.13.0 和 1.18.14.0 的发布，在某些问题上，开发者能够迅速找到处理方法，但在某些问题上并不是，需要等待。

在此之前，simUpdate IV 也许是最为稳定的一次更新，但我相信 simUpdate V 会为更多的用户带来实际的好处。

0.14.0 版本的SDK发布了，有新的功能部分引入，也有对已有问题的解决。

如果不出意外，下周我将会对敦煌莫高机场进行一次基于新版本SDK的版本更新。

General

We changed the way LODs behave to get massive performance improvements. Now, on Xbox, this is how LODs work:

Objects with one single LOD disappear if their screen size is lower than 5%. MAJOR CHANGE as it used to be 0.5% in previous versions
Objects with two LODs disappear if their screen size is lower than 2%.
Objects with three or more LODs disappear if their screen size is lower than 0.5%.

We strongly advise people to create 4 different LODs for their models, as it is stated in our Xbox guidelines here 31.
We have temporarily reverted the LOD selection mechanism to its previous state on PC. However, because it is important that you can check the state of your add-ons with the Xbox LOD selection mechanism, we have added an “Xbox LOD Selection Mode” option in the DevMode.

已有115 (+0) 家已经发布了510 个产品(+12)。
累积共有1,178 种产品(+20) 已经在三方商店和内置市场上发布。此外，还有361 款来自三方开发商的产品（+2）正在制作中（227 款已发布，134 款未发布）。总共有超过1,539 款三方产品 (+22) 已发布或正在开发中。

不管怎么样，G1000正式进入了内置市场，相信和外置版本一样，都会解决一些问题。

但说实话，G530/430我个人用的更多。
