This idea inspired the animation of the Deadly Nadder ,which ' moves like a parrot , with a biy of an emu 's walk and the posture of a tyrannosaurus rex tossed into our blend of behaviors ' , says Head of Charactor Animition Simon Otto.

The Deadly Nadder has a spike motif in its dragon detail , and this calls attention to a unique talent the dragon has : the ability to fan up the eighty-two spikes tha cover its body as a defense mechanism . These spikes can also be released from the dragon in a whiplike motion to impale his opponents .
