《驯龙高手》中村庄屋舍的设计介绍

村里的房子展现出一种特别的色彩和夸张感，人们可能很难想象如此粗暴的社会能造出如此奇观。据制作设计师Kathy Altieri表示：“我们的维京人对自己和龙之间的战斗有着无限的热情和精力。他们在自己的房子上雕刻龙头，并在全村放置尖叫的维京石像，作为他们斗争和胜利的纪念碑。”

为了让房屋显得更加真实，“其表面加上了大量的纹理细节，比如覆盖着苔藓的木材，这是北欧潮湿的夏天自然出现的现象。”艺术总监Pierre-Olivier Vincent补充说。

房子上的龙图形反映了这个房子主人在以前曾经打败过了什么龙，这些是他们的征服战果的象征。

The houses in the village offer a fun dose of color and caricature that one might not expect from a society as gruff as this. "Our Vikings have unlimited passion and energy for the battles between themselves and the dragons. They carved dragon heads on their houses and placed screaming Viking stone statues throughout the village as monuments to their struggles and victories," according to Production Designer Kathy Altieri. The look of the houses is brought back into a more realistic realm "by surfacing with heavily textured details such as moss-covered wood, a natural occurrence in the humid Nordic summers," adds Art Director Pierre-Olivier Vincent.

The dragon motif on a house reflects what type of dragon the houseowner defeated in the past, and these are emblems of what they have conquered.--Pierre-Olivier Vincent, Art Director
