英语故事短文：我欠你一个鱼漂

I Owe You for a Float

Mr Smith worked in a post office and three years ago ,when he was sixty ,he retired .Now he and his wife stay at home and his children work in another city .

史密斯先生在邮局工作，三年前，当他60岁的时候，他退休了。现在他和他妻子呆在家里，他们的儿子在另外一个城市工作。

The old woman does all housework and he has nothing to do at home .He likes neither reading nor watching games .

妻子在家包干所有的家务，但史密斯却呆家里没啥事情可做。他既不喜欢看书，也不喜欢看球赛

At first he didn’t know how to spend the spare time .Mr Hunt who was two years older than him asked him to go fishing with him .

起初他不知道应该如何去消磨时间。比他年长两岁的亨特先生就邀请他一起去钓鱼。
“It’s a good sport ,”said Mr Hunt .“I’m sure you will soon be interested in it .”

“钓鱼是个很棒的运动” 亨特说，“我保证你会很快感兴趣的”
“But I can’t fish at all ,you know .”

“但我完全不懂钓鱼，你是知道的”
“That’s easy .Go fishing with me tomorrow morning and I’ll teach you .”

“这个简单，你明天跟我一起去钓鱼，我会教你怎么钓”
Mr Smith decided to try his luck .The following day the two old friends came to a river and began to fish .

史密斯决定去试试运气。接下来的日子里，这两位老朋友去到河边开始钓鱼。

Suddenly Mr Smith said ,“How much do those little red things cost ?”

史密斯突然说：“那些小小红色东西多少钱？”
“You mean the floats ?Oh ,they are cheap .What made you ask me such a question ?”

“你说鱼漂吗？ 噢，它们很便宜。你为啥问我这个问题呢？”

“I owe you one .Mine has just sunk .”

“我欠你一个鱼漂。我的鱼漂刚刚沉了”
