3.4新增
一级地名
千壑沙地 Desert of Hadramaveth
Hadhramaut (Arabic: حَضْرَمَوْتُ \ حَضْرَمُوتُ, romanized: Ḥaḍramawt / Ḥaḍramūt) is a region in South Arabia, comprising eastern Yemen, parts of western Oman and southern Saudi Arabia.
The origin of the name of Ḥaḍramawt is not exactly known, and there are numerous competing hypotheses about its meaning. The most common folk etymology is that the region's name means "death has come," from Arabic: حَضَر, romanized: ḥaḍara, lit. 'he came' and Arabic: مَوْت, romanized: mawt, lit. 'death'
The Temples Forsaken
「神的棋盘」 Safhe Shatranj
صَفْحَة • (ṣafḥa) 1. page 2. surface
Shatranj (Arabic: شطرنج; Persian: شترنج; from Middle Persian chatrang چترنگ) is an old form of chess, as played in the Sasanian Empire. Its origins are in the Indian game of chaturaṅga.
这里一开始叫做神弃殿阁,随着任务名字改为「神的棋盘」。
Safhe指平面,Shatranj即波斯象棋,是一种古老形式的国际象棋。
巨人峡谷 Wadi Al-Majuj
玛迦——Majuj
Gog and Magog (Hebrew: גּוֹג וּמָגוֹג, Gōg ū-Māgōg) appear in the Hebrew Bible and the Quran as individuals, tribes, or lands.
Some later traditions expand the portrayal of Yājūj and Mājūj, providing various descriptions of them. Some Yājūj and Mājūj are as tall as cedars, others as wide as they are tall, and some completely covered by their ears.
Debris of Panjvahe
「五绿洲」Panjvahe
「五绿洲之殿堂」 Fane of Panjvahe
پنج (panj) Five.
واح (vah) An oasis.
Panjvahe就是波斯语的“五-绿洲”,Debris是英文的残骸的意思,Fane是英文的殿堂的意思。
愚妄行宫 Qusayr Al-Inkhida'
قَصْر • (qaṣr) large stone building, castle, palace, fortress
اِنخِداع (Inkhidāʻ ) Illusion, Delusion, being deceived
直译是“被欺骗者的行宫”
Qusayr应该是作为qasr指宫殿,参考现实里的Qusayr 'Amra理解为"small qasr of 'Amra"(待补充解释)。
al-用作the,Inkhida这里应该指被欺骗,Al-Inkhida指被欺骗者。
达马山 Mt. Damavand
Mount Damavand (Persian: دماوند) is a potentially active stratovolcano, the highest peak in Iran and Western Asia and the highest volcano in Asia.
Damavand is a significant mountain in Persian mythology. It is the symbol of Iranian resistance against despotism and foreign rule in Persian poetry and literature. In Zoroastrian texts and mythology, the three-headed dragon Aži Dahāka was chained within Mount Damāvand, there to remain until the end of the world. In a later version of the same legend, the tyrant Zahhāk was also chained in a cave somewhere in Mount Damāvand after being defeated by Kāveh and Fereydūn.
The origins and meaning of the word "Damavand" is unclear, yet some prominent researchers[who?] have speculated that it probably means "The mountain from which smoke and ash arises", alluding to the volcanic nature of the mountain.
原神:在沙漠人失落的语言中,「达马山」之意乃是「烟尘丛生之山」。
有现实原型,是波斯神话里重要的山,是伊朗最高的山,现实里也有含义是「烟尘丛生之山」的说法。上面英文提到的Aži Dahāka可以写成Azhdaha,即若坨龙王的英文名。
亡者狭廊 Passage of Ghouls
A ghoul (Arabic: غول, ghūl) is a demon-like being or monstrous humanoid. The concept originated in pre-Islamic Arabian religion, associated with graveyards and the consumption of human flesh.
ghoul可以指一种阿拉伯神话的怪物,经常被翻译为食尸鬼。
不过原神里有不少璃月或稻妻相关的普通的幽灵或鬼怪也被翻译为ghoul,这里感觉也更像普通的幽灵,亡者感觉和食尸鬼差别比较大。
镔铁沙丘 Dunes of Steel
这是目前(3.4版本)游戏里唯一一次出现镔铁,暂不清楚为什么要用这个名字。
还有一些英文无特殊含义或在其他地方分析过就不具体分析了
啁哳之沙 The Sands of Al-Azif
塔尼特露营地 Tanit Camps
折胫谷 Wounded Shin Valley
「三运河之地」 The Sands of Three Canals

「永恒绿洲」 Orchard of Pairidaeza
绿洲峡谷 Pairidaeza Canyon
The paradise garden is a form of garden of Old Iranian origin, specifically Achaemenid which is formal, symmetrical and most often, enclosed.
It is also often referred to as an Islamic garden.
Originally denominated by a single noun denoting "a walled-in compound or garden", from "pairi" ("around") and "daeza" or "diz" ("wall", "brick", or "shape"), philosopher and historian Xenophon of Athens borrowed the Old Iranian *paridaiza(h), Late Old Iranian *pardēz (Avestan pairidaēza, Old Persian *paridaida, Late Old Persian *pardēd) into Greek as paradeisos. This term is used for the Garden of Eden in Greek translations of the Old Testament.
Pairidaeza指天堂花园(paradise garden),一种古代伊朗起源的花园的形式。对应的希腊语的paradeisos在旧约圣经的希腊翻译版中被用来表示伊甸园。
Bayt (Arabic: بيت or Hebrew: בית, both meaning house; there are similar words in various Semitic languages), also spelled bayit, bayyit, bait, beit, beth, bet
三个殿的英文名都出现了Bayt,Bayt即拜特拉哈英文Beit Raha里的Beit,指house。
从地理志上的描述来看这三个殿分别和须弥的三个神有关。
君王之殿(威权尽葬之殿)——威权、沙漠神王——赤王
生命之殿(生命枯焦之殿)——生命、植物、蕈类——树王
酣乐之殿(漓泉干涸之殿)——漓泉、美酒、歌舞、花园——花神
君王之殿 Bayt Al-Muazzam
مُعَظَّم (Arabic: muʿaẓẓam) exalted, glorified, venerated
Muazzam同时也是穆阿扎姆(哈冈)的英文,指受敬仰的。
生命之殿 Bayt Al-Hayah
Hayah (Arabic: هيه) Life.
酣乐之殿 Bayt Al-Sukr
sukr (Arabic: ﺳُﻜﺮ) drunkenness.
还有一些的其他之前专栏分析过或没什么特殊含义就不具体分析了

「赤王的水晶杯」 Deshret's Glass Goblet
阿佩普的行宫花园 Apep's Resort
3.1新增
3.1新增特殊含义的英文地名里Aaru, Duat, Sekhem, Abdju都和Osiris有关系。
一级地名
上风蚀地 Land of Upper Setekh
下风蚀地 Land of Lower Setekh
Seth, also called Setekh, Setesh, or Set, is a god of deserts, storms, disorder, violence, and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion.
He was lord of the Red Land, where he was the balance to Horus' role as lord of the Black Land.
In the Osiris myth, the most important Egyptian myth, Set is portrayed as the usurper who killed and mutilated his own brother, Osiris.
Hypostyle Desert
Hypostyle指由多个柱子支撑着的(建筑)。
二级地名
列柱沙原内
秘仪圣殿 Khemenu Temple
ḫmnw 1.eight 2. the city of Hermopolis
Khemenu (Ḫmnw), the Egyptian language name of the "Hermopolis", means "Eight-Town", after the Ogdoad, a group of eight "primordial" deities whose cult was situated there.
In Koine Greek, the city was called "The City of Hermes" since the Greeks identified Hermes with Thoth, because the city was the main cult centre of Thoth, the Pharaonic god of magic, healing, and wisdom and the patron of scribes.
埃及语。本身是8的含义,也可以指Hermopolis这个崇拜古埃及八元神(ḫmnyw, "ogdoad")的城市,这个城市同时也崇拜古埃及的智慧之神Thoth。
丰饶绿洲 Sobek Oasis - Sobek (also called Sobki, Coptic: Ⲥⲟⲩⲕ, romanized: Souk) was an ancient Egyptian deity. He is associated with the Nile crocodile or the West African crocodile and is represented either in its form or as a human with a crocodile head. Sobek was also associated with pharaonic power, fertility, and military prowess, but served additionally as a protective deity with apotropaic qualities, invoked especially for protection against the dangers presented by the Nile.
一位埃及神,和丰饶有关,和鳄鱼有联系,鳄鱼头人身。
下风蚀地
阿如村 Aaru Village - In ancient Egyptian mythology, Aaru (Ancient Egyptian: jꜣrw "Reeds, rushes"), known also as sḫt-jꜣrw or the Field of Reeds, is the heavenly paradise where Osiris rules. It has been described as the ka (a part of the soul) of the Nile Delta.
The ancient Egyptians believed that the soul resides in the heart and so, upon death, the Weighing of the Heart occurred. Each human heart is weighed on a giant scale against an ostrich feather, which represents the concept of Maat. Those souls which balance the scales are allowed to start a long and perilous journey to the Field of Reeds, where they will exist in pleasure for all eternity. Hearts heavy with evil tip and fall into the crocodilian jaws of the demon Ammit. After this "second death", the soul is doomed to restlessness in Duat.
Abdju Pit
舍身步道 Abdju Road
ꜣbḏw(Abdju) 1. the city of Abydos 2. (metonymically) the afterlife
Abydos is located in Upper Egypt, about 10 km from the Nile River. It was a necropolis for Egypt's earliest kings and later became a pilgrimage center for the worship of the god Osiris.
这个二级地名一开始叫舍身步道,但随着任务进展会变成舍身陷坑,但赤沙石板上面的描述还是舍身步道。
Abdju一般指Abydos这个城市,Abydos崇拜古埃及的Osiris,Wiktionary说ꜣbḏw可以用来转喻afterlife。
圣显厅 Khaj-Nisut - Khaj-nisut (Egyptian: 𓇓𓏏𓈖𓈍 (ḫꜥj-nsw.t) khai-nesut) is Egyptian for "appearance of the king" and refers to the coronation of the pharaoh.
这个二级地名一开始叫沙之眼(Eye of the Sands),但随着任务进展会变成圣显厅。
活力之家 Dar al-Shifa - دَار(dār) means land or country.
Al-Shifa (الشفاء, Arabic for "healing")
还有一些在地方分析过或没什么特殊含义就不具体分析了

渡厄厅 Duat Hall - The Duat (Ancient Egyptian: dwꜣt, Coptic: ⲧⲏ, also appearing as Tuat, Tuaut or Akert, Amenthes, Amenti, or Neter-khertet) is the realm of the dead in ancient Egyptian mythology. It has been represented in hieroglyphs as a star-in-circle: 𓇽. The god Osiris was believed to be the lord of the underworld. He was the first mummy as depicted in the Osiris myth and he personified rebirth and life after death.
Duat是古埃及宗教中的冥府,而Osiris被认为是冥界之主。
祝祭厅 Opet Hall - Opet, ancient Egyptian festival of the second month of the lunar calendar. In the celebration of Opet, the god Amon, Mut, his consort, and Khons, their son, made a ritual journey from their shrines at Karnak to the temple of Luxor
权杖厅 Sekhem Hall - The sekhem scepter (symbolizing "the powerful") is a type of ritual scepter in ancient Egypt.
It's symbolic role may have originated in Abydos as a fetish of Osiris. Osiris was often called "the Great Sekhem" or "Foremost of Powers". Hence, the sekhem was often used as a symbol of the underworld deity. This probably led to the scepter also becoming an emblem of Anubis.
sḫm (sekhem) 本身有power的含义,Sekhem表form时可以看作埃及传说中灵魂的一部分。
sekhem scepter是一种权杖的名字,象征权力。sekhem scepter的象征意义可能来源于Abydos对Osiris的崇拜,Osiris经常被称为“the Great Sekhem”,因此sekhem scepter常常作为冥界神的象征,可能因此导致权杖也作为阿努比斯的象征(赛诺专武赤沙之杖和sekhem scepter类似)。
衡准大厅 Great Hall of Truths
埃及神话里将羽毛和亡故的心脏放在秤上测量就发生在Hall of Truths,或The Hall of Two Truths。
吞羊岩 Lamb-Devourer Rock
字面意思
一级地名
桓那兰那 Vanarana
玛哈桓那兰那薜那 Mahavanaranapna -
mahā (महा).—great.
Vanarana(桓那兰那)是桓那Vana(森林)+兰那(罗)Arana(ra)
Svapna (स्वप्न)——A dream, dreaming.
护世森 Lokapala Jungle - Lokapāla (Sanskrit: लोकपाल), Sanskrit and Pāli for "guardian of the world", has different uses depending on whether it is found in a Hindu or Buddhist context.
In Hinduism, lokapāla refers to the Guardians of the Directions associated with the eight, nine and ten cardinal directions.
In Buddhism, lokapāla refers to the Four Heavenly Kings, and to other protector spirits, whereas the Guardians of the Directions are referred to as the 'dikpālas'
补充:
【护世四天王】又作护国四王、四大天王、四王。即持国(东方)、增长(南方)、广目(西方)、多闻(北方)四天王。此四天王居须弥山四方之半腹,常守护佛法,护持四天下,令诸恶鬼神不得侵害众生,故称护世,又称护国。
道成林 Avidya Forest - Avidya is a Buddhist term for ignorance, specifically ignorance of the metaphysical reality.
Ardravi Valley - Ardravi is part of the Iranian goddess Anahita's name in Sanskrit, Ārdrāvī Śūrā Anāhitā, which means "of the waters, mighty, and immaculate.”
Ashavan Realm -
Avestan: 𐬀𐬴𐬀𐬬𐬀𐬥 ašavan is a Zoroastrian term for "posessing truth”.
Hindi: Asavan in Hindi refers in English to:—(nm) distillation.
Marathi: āśāvān (आशावान्).—a (S) pop. āśāvanta a āśāviṣṭa a (S) Hopeful.
二净甸 Vissudha Field - Viśuddha (विशुद्ध) refers to “pure”.
Lost Nursery
字面意思。
二级地名
道成林内
须弥城 Sumeru City - Sumeru is one of the many names of Mount Meru, a sacred five-peaked mountain in Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist cosmology.
【须弥山】须弥,梵名Sumeru ,巴利名同。原为印度神话中之山名,佛教之宇宙观沿用之,谓其为耸立于一小世界中央之高山。以此山为中心,周围有八山、八海环绕,而形成一世界。
化城郭 Gandharva Ville - The English name, Gandharva Ville, combines the Sanskrit gandharva (Sanskrit: गन्धर्व) with the French word ville "city", making the name mean "Gandharva City." This is a reference to Gandharvanagara (Sanskrit: गन्धर्वनगर "city of the Gandharvas"), an illusory city that appears as a mirage but does not actually exist.
【化城】化城者,一时化作之城郭也。法华七喻之一。譬小乘之涅槃也。
乾闼婆(梵语:गन्धर्व,Gandharva,巴利语:Gandhabba),在印度宗教中,是一种以香味为食的神族,能表演音乐、节目。
Gandharva的城市是虚幻的城市,所以游戏里用化城这个说法。第一次遭遇沙漠幻象出现的“犍闼缚城”成就里的“犍闼缚”就是Gandharva的一种音译。
天臂池 Yazadaha Pool -
天臂城Devdaha (Deva Daha, देवदह)
Deva means god and Daha means a pond hence the literal meaning of Devadaha is "pond of the gods". It is believed that the gods and goddesses and saints bathed in this pond.
It is identified as the maternal home of Queen Mayadevi, Prajapati Gautami and Princess Yasodhara.
佛陀的生母摩耶夫人Queen Mayadevi、养母Prajapati Gautami和妻子Princess Yasodhara都是天臂城的公主。
原型Devadaha=Deva+daha直译是“神之池”。原神把Devdaha的dev改为Yaza了,Yaza应该出自Yazata,相比天臂城的Deva是印度教对神祇的称呼,Yazata是拜火教对神祇的统称。
香醉坡 Gandha Hill - Refers to Gandhamadana(香醉山), a mountain situated east of Mount Meru. Renowned for its fragrant forests. Also known as the Fragrant Mountain.
【香醉山】梵名Gandhamadana ,巴利名同。于佛教世界观须弥山说中,此山为阎浮提洲最北端之山,其南有大雪山(即须弥山),阿耨达池即在此两山之间。此山中因有诸香气,嗅之能令人醉,故称香醉。
离渡谷 Chinvat Ravine - The Chinvat Bridge separates the world of the living from the world of the dead in Zoroastrianism.
钦瓦特桥(阿维斯陀语:Cinvatô Peretûm)意译裁判之桥、审判之桥或束状桥,或报答者之桥 ,是琐罗亚斯德教中将生界与死界分离的筛选之桥。在某些中文文献中又译“离渡之桥”或“天桥”。
护世森内
无郁稠林 Mawtiyima Forest - مَوْت (mawt) is an Arabic word meaning death or demise. Its Persian counterpart is موت (mout). Yima is the first man in ancient Iranian religion (pre-Zoroastrianism). He does show up in Zoroastrianism as Yima and Jamshid.
【稠林】 梵语gahana。又作谜。即密茂之森林;佛教比喻众生邪见烦恼,交络繁茂,有如稠林。
原神:「无郁夷摩」(Mawtiyima),在古老的语言中,曾有着「人之死」的含义。
中间的i应该是Ezāfe,理解为英文的of,mawt是死,yima是拜火教之前古代伊朗宗教里的“第一个人”。
卡萨扎莱宫 the Palace of Alcazarzaray -
An alcázar is a type of Islamic palace built in the al-Andalus region. Alcázar is a Spanish word derived from the Arabic القصر al-qaṣr, meaning "the fort" or "the palace," which itself is derived from the Latin word castrum, meaning "fortress" or "military camp.”
The derivation of -zaray is unclear, with multiple possibilities:
The Arabic word زَرَعَ zaraʿa means "planting" or "sowing," and its adjective form is زَرْعَيْ zaray. Combined with alcázar, or al-qasr, it would mean "Planting/Sowing Palace."
The Persian word سرای sarây means "palace."
The Avestan word "zaray" means "yellow," "golden", or "golden shine" and is used to form the first part of the name Zarathustra, another name for Zoraster.
又称艾尔卡萨扎莱宫,alcázar是一种安达卢斯地区的伊斯兰教形式的宫殿。
茸蕈窟 Chatrakam Cave - Chatrāka (छत्राक) is a Sanskrit word referring to the “mushroom”.
阿陀河谷内
奥摩斯港 Port Ormos
Popular etymology derives "Hormuz", being the Middle Persian pronunciation of the Persian deity Ahuramazda. Yet another possibility is that it comes from Όρμος, the Greek word for 'cove, bay'.
Vimara Village - Vimala means Pure, stainless, spotless, clean
【维摩】梵名Vimalakīrti 。又作毗摩罗诘、维摩诘、无垢称、净名、灭垢鸣。为佛陀之在家弟子,乃中印度毗舍离城(梵Vaishali)之长者。虽在俗尘,然精通大乘佛教教义,其修为高远,虽出家弟子犹有不能及者。
印度教/佛教/耆那教。
从英文名来看也有可能是vi-(separate/distinct from)+mara(Death),远离死亡(或魔罗)。
降诸魔山 Devantaka Mountain - Devanataka means "destroyer of gods". Devantaka and Narantaka (destroyer of men) are asuras in Hindu legends.
善见地内
荼诃之座 Ruins of Dahri - Dahri is "a theological term referring either to an atheist or to an adherent of the doctrine that the universe had no beginning in time."
原神:嗯,通常的说法应该是坎瑞亚?荼诃是我们因论派喜欢用的古称。
这里取得应该是无神论者的含义,代指坎瑞亚。
水天丛林 Apam Woods - Apam Napat is a deity in the Indo-Iranian pantheon associated with water. It means "child of the waters" in Sanskrit and Avestan.
M. Boyce (“On Varuna’s part in Zoroastrianism,” Mélanges E. Benveniste, ed. M. Moïnfar, Paris, 1975, pp. 57-66; idem, Zoroastrianism, pp. 46f.) took the further step of proposing to see in “Apām Napāt” an Indo-Iranian title of great Varuṇa.
Pardis Dhyai -
Pardis (Persian: پردیس) means both paradise and garden.
dhyāna(ध्यान) comes from the root ध्यै (dhyai, “to contemplate, meditate, think of”).
【禅那】 梵语dhyāna。译曰思惟修。新译曰静虑。与禅定同。心定一境而审为思虑者。
咯万驿 Caravan Ribat - Caravan is self explanatory. Ribat is an Arabic term for a small fortification housing military volunteers on the frontier. These fortifications were later used as caravanserais (inn) to defend trade routes. Ribat in the abstract also refers to the voluntary defense of Islam.
Caravan英文本身有沙漠旅行队的意思,只是Caravan的来源中间可以追溯到波斯语的کاروان (kârvân)。
谒颂幽境 Yasna Monument -
Yasna is the Avestan name of Zoroastrianism's principal act of worship. It is also the name of the primary liturgical collection of Avesta texts, recited during that yasna ceremony.

寂静园 Razan Garden - Arabic رَزَنَ (razana, “to be steady, firm, still”).
净善宫 Sanctuary of Surasthana - Sura (Sanskrit: शूर) means "god" or "deity" in Sanskrit and Sthāna (Sanskrit: स्थान) refers to "a temple". Surasthāna can mean "temple", "devotional place" or "the place or abode of a god".
浮槃歌卷·卷一里提到里面的「大宫」并非指「宫殿」而是指「神临在的一片土地」,大概率就是因为Surasthana既可以指“宫殿”也可以指“神临在的一片土地”。
智慧宫 House of Daena -Daēnā is a Zoroastrian concept representing insight and revelation, hence "conscience" or "religion.”
波斯语。
可能参考了巴格达的智慧之家(House of Wisdom (Arabic: بيت الحكمة, romanized: Bayt al-Ḥikmah), also known as the Grand Library of Baghdad),多译作“智慧宫”,是阿拉伯帝国阿拔斯王朝时期伊拉克巴格达的一所图书馆及翻译机构。它是翻译运动里的重要机构,被视为伊斯兰黄金时代的一个主要学术中心。
虽然还有其他地方也叫智慧之家,但叫做智慧宫的应该就这一个。
大巴扎 Grand Bazaar - Bazzar is a marketplace, particularly in the Middle East and South Asia, and often covered with shops and stalls.
From Middle French bazar or Italian bazar, from Ottoman Turkish بازار (bâzâr), from Persian بازار (bâzâr).
现实中有几个地方的名字也叫做Grand Bazaar,其中最著名的是土耳其伊斯坦堡的大巴扎。
Bazaar英文本身有集市的含义,只是来源可以追溯到波斯语的بازار (bâzâr)。
还有一些没什么特殊含义不具体分析了
