The successful research, development and manufacturing of COMAC ARJ21 greatly bridged the gap in the markets for small-sized airliners. Compared to its competitors of the same level, ARJ21 provides with more comfortable cabins for travelers with better flying experience. From the launching of the Chinese projects on COMAC ARJ21, to the birth of the prototype, the process took over 14 years, which is a work of China’s Civil Aviation’s great pains and efforts for generations. Y-20 is the largest transporter ever made in China, at a same or similar manufacturing level as transporters made in those powerful military countries.
