conceal,hide 这组动词均含有“隐败、蒙蔽”之意。其用法区别是: 

conceal 作及物动词。指故意将事物隐藏起来，使他人不知道如: 

He concealed the sweets in his pocket.他把糖果藏在口袋里。 

I never conceal my political views.我从不隐瞒我的政治观点。 

hide作及物动词和不及物动词。为常用语，既可指故意的隐藏，也可指无意中隐藏，有时还指客观上某物被另一物所掩盖。如: 

I hid my dlary under the pillow,我把日记本藏在枕头下面。 

The sun was hidden by the clouds.太阳被云遮住了。
