上次 我把 Vincent 同学的 高考作文 点评了 一下

有很多同学 都把 他们的 高考作文 发给我了

我看了 一下，好像 一共有 4套 题目

因为 都不太全，我 就网上 搜索了一下

写了 几篇， 抛砖引玉：

北京高考英语作文题目

Dear Jim，

I am writing with some bad news. I know that we made plans last week to go to the museum on Friday, and you were very excited to see the classical Chinese artwork there. I am very sorry to say that an unexpected situation has come up, and I will have to cancel. My grandmother is quite old, and she recently has become a little ill. Since my parents are away, I will stay with her to make sure she recovers. I am sure that it is nothing serious, but she is quite old. Better safe than sorry, right? Is it possible that we can reschedule our museum trip for next month? In the meantime, I can call our classmate to take you to another museum, if you’d like. 高考英语甲卷作文题目

There are many important Chinese holidays, but some are not well known in the West. As such, this will introduce Duanwu Jie, also known as Dragon Boat Festival. Though this festival is celebrated across China, few Westerners know about it. The festival originated thousands of years ago. A poet and statesman named Qu Yuan sacrificed himself by jumping into a river. His countrymen rushed out to throw rice into the water, so fish would not eat his corpse. This led to a tradition of people racing boats with dragon heads. Dragon Boat Festival is also celebrated by eating these rice balls, which are filled with meat, fruit or beans. The festival also occurs in June, though the date changes. Do you think that similar holidays exist in the West, or is this uniquely Chinese? Youth is ten years old! I have been reading this paper since my first year in high school. Youth did not just teach me English, it also helped me realize other important points of view.For instance, I remember one of their columns about wellness and health inspired me to start running and exercising more. Be smart online learners？

It is widely used these days due to the fact that the epidemic is still serious.The following is my view on online learning.Today, many people are curious about online learning’s benefits. Students can learn from anywhere, so there is less concern about transportation and distance to school. Students in rural areas can get the same chances as people in the big city. And of course, learning from home slowed the spread of the pandemic. However, sitting in front of a computer all day has many negatives as well. Aside from health issues arising from constant sitting and screen time, many students feel socially isolated. Many just want to spend time outside with friends. Furthermore, this anxiety can lead to addictions to online games and phone apps. All things considered, it is clear that online learning is necessary for now, but should be phased out in the future. 这么说吧，我 也 凡尔赛 一下：

平均一篇 5 分钟

有同学 可能会说：

老师，你当然 快啊，因为 你母语  就是 英语啊！

这个 还真的 需要 说明一下：

英语 是 一门 很容易 说，但是 非常难写的 语言

我的 一些 美国学生 写作 都难以 达到 较高标准

因为 英语写作 需要 花 大量的时间 练习

我 本人 其实 非常喜欢 写作

无论 是用 中文 还是 英文

有很多 同学 注意到 我中文 不会用 标点符号

其实，我可以用标点符号

但是 我觉得 这样会 限制 我的 思绪 和 表达

因为 写作 就是一种 表达

要从 内心 去 热爱它 而不是 应付它

表达 和 交流 是一种 欲望

只有 不断的 去交流 和 表达

你 才能 真正 掌握 写作的 核心

我 知道 很多同学 是 背了 大量 英语范文的

这 当然 是个 应对 考试的 好技巧

以前 在南大 工作的时候

我 也建议 参加 雅思 或者 托福的 同学 去背诵

因为 这个技能 大家 不常用

听力 ：很多同学 可以 不看翻译 看美剧

阅读 ：很多同学 可以 直接查找 专业文献

但 写作 一般 就 很难 遇到 使用的 场景了

所以 英文写作 就完全成了 模板背诵

问题在于 很多 英语作文模板 是 国内老师 自创的

打个比方 我对 ”every coin has two sides“  深恶痛绝

我 曾经 专门 查过 这句话的 由来

李明、李雷 和 韩梅梅 我知道 来自于 课本 和 题目

但是 这句话 来自 课外辅导 设计模板

听起来 总是 特别奇怪

因为 在美国，你 根本 就听不到 这句话！

这句话 确实是 西方一个 谚语

但是 这句话 平时 说话 和 文章当中 十分罕见

美国 很多 语言教育 都把 该词 称为 雅思 cliche：陈词滥调

有点类似于 把一个 生僻的 歇后语 来回说的 感觉

我个人认为：

国内的英语 写作教育 需要 往更 应用的 场景 切换

而 不是 过分的 强调 分数

比如 这次的 “演讲” 题材 就很好

我 希望 英语作文 能够 更像 语文作文

就是 只 给定 题目

减少 框定的 要求，增加 字数上限

我觉得 很多 高中同学的 英文水平 已经很高

完全 可以 像评比 语文高考满分作文 一样 来 评比 英文作文

雅思作文 中国考生 分数 不高

但是 其他地区 就 相对较高

这个 问题 就是 出在了 ”应试“上

国内 甚至 有很多 阴谋论 ：

认为 雅思官方 故意 刁难 中国考生

我 认为 还是要 从 实际应用出发

才能 改变 这种 不利的情况

往小了说，国内考试 考雅思 吃亏

往大了说，国内 想要 和 西方 论战 和 思辩

交流不畅 会 吃大亏！

虽然 现在 很多老同学 和我 是用 微信联系

但 我经常 建议 他们 给我发 邮件

因为 发消息 实在 太口语，太短了

发消息 虽然 效率高

但是 写作能力 在 退化~

模板化问题 会 严重 制约 学生的 英语思维 和 能力

打个 不恰当的比方：八股文

英语 是一门 语言

而 语言 不只是 一个 工具

语言 会 共情 和 影响 思维方式

我 为什么  热爱 和 理解 中国文化

这 和我 努力的 学习 中文 是 分不开的

有很多 同学 热衷于 把口音 达到 一个级别

甚至 能够 模仿 美国 南北口音 和 不同族裔 口音

这有点 南辕北辙

要 想办法 让自己 用 英语 书面表达
