人民食物主权简介(中英文版)

人民食物主权网络形成于2013年8月,汇集了不同高校、科研机构和NGO组织的学者。
我们认为,食物是人民大众最基本的民生品、公共品。当食物生产异化为商品生产,那么以资为本、以逐利为目的的生产体系、流通体系、营销体系便成为食物不安全问题频发的温床。食物不安全背后的问题是广大普通生产者失去对生产的自主性,消费者失去真正的选择权,国家失去对食物的自主规划、调控和保障能力,这些都是食物主权的丧失。
我们关注食品安全和三农问题,关注食物生产者和消费者,也关注国家的相关政策及其实施,主张互惠合作的生产者-消费者关系,呼吁保障人民和国家双重主体的权利,支持生态农业等可持续发展方式。

The People's Food Sovereignty Forum was formed in August 2013, bringing together scholars from various research Institutions, universities, and NGOs.
We believe that food is the most basic public good and an essential component of the people's well being. When food production becomes commercialized, production and distribution systems centered around capital and profit-seeking are bound to become fertile ground for food safety issues. Lurking behind such issues are the problematic dynamics wherein producers don't have autonomy in production, consumers don't have a real right to choose, and the state loses the sovereignty needed to control, regulate, and protect food production. These dynamics constitute an overall loss in food sovereignty.
We focus on food safety and China's so called "Sannong" issues, with an eye on consumers, producers, related government policies, and the implementation of those policies. We stand for mutually beneficial cooperation between consumers and producers, protecting the rights of both the people and the state, all with an aim to promote the development of sustainable and ecologically responsible agriculture.
