When talk about customer service, I'd like to point out three points.
First, brand development. A well-known make means the business organization could offer reliable and excellent after-sales service. If your service is more than lip service, it would get your brand downgraded.
Second, customer satisfaction. The quality of products would be the key to end-users, but some durable goods, like cars, machines, or cell phones, need maintaning or repairing. In this way, customer satisfaction would add up to customer loyalty.
Third, information feedback. Customer service department should be responsible for not only customer satisfaction, but also information collection. The information about quality and service improvements should be picked up day by day.
