写在最前：

        本文只是两位赛事主办对整届D2F感言的翻译。关于决赛发生的争议以及我的感想，我将单独发布专栏。

        作为一个成年人，不断增长的责任和压力使我几乎没有时间。 在比赛的后期阶段，我几乎没有时间付出，而且不幸的是我看到它们已经变成成我不希望看到的情况。

        坦率地说，我对继续举办比赛呈悲观态度。我的兴趣是在“生意”（business）上，并通过用生产性的（productive）爱好代替非生产性的爱好来促进我自己的发展，而这些爱好反过来能扩展我的思想。 我的爱好将更相关于我的成长，例如学习柏拉图式一元论、远足、登山、（新入坑了摄影）；我给自己买了一些入门装备。 我的目标是在业余时间探索世界，并将精力花费在能促进我成长的事物上。

        键盘侠们（Critics），在自己花费时间管理比赛之前闭上你们的嘴，别被人抓住了把柄发现你们是伪君子的事实。在亲自尝试过其他人做的事之前，不要妄加议论才是明智之举。

        另外回应一下某些人对决赛使用promod E-的质疑。它确实不是最完美的配置，用它打正式比赛也算不上什么明智的决定，甚至有些人说这是弱智插件，我只是觉得spitter的高伤害能让选手们打得更加“聪明”一些。

        除了杯赛，我还记下了一些日记，并写下了一些对我来说具有深远意义的东西，这样我就可以专注于并继续努力，例如成为一个男人所能做到的最好的人。 我目的是去保持我在日记中写下的内容，去不断前进，并尽我所能过上最好的生活。 不管这一切是否存在，无论是哪种方式，我们所有人都将面临通往“无限”的大门，无论是永远的死亡还是新的生活，我都会选择帕斯卡的赌注（注1），无论是哪种方式，我的目标都是 这是我现在所拥有的最好的东西，并将继续向前发展。

        对第一场决赛期间发生的令人作呕的行为表示抱歉。在整届比赛过程中发生了很多事情，并且我们很失望地看到它再次出现在了我们的总决赛中。这些行为显示的不尊重已经超过了管理员（包括我自己）的限度。祝贺Pubstar，不论决赛结果如何，我始终相信你们是更好的那支队伍。希望所有队伍都享受了这届还算和谐的赛事。赛前我们的目的是为全世界的队伍们提供一个新的比赛形式，使用许多不同的新旧配置。当然，比赛加入了这些插件的新参数会导致产生故障或者问题，但我们已经尽了最大努力来让求生之路2的竞技展示出新面貌。祝贺所有备受尊敬的队伍进入季后赛，并且尽管情况不佳，但Pubstar还是赢得了杯赛。 Sou目前正在录制比赛，他会在有时间的时候将其上传到他的频道。 为了方便起见，如果您想观看比赛，他的频道上会有一个播放列表。

I have little time as a full grown man with many bearings of responsibility and stress; which continues to grow. I had little time to give for these latter stages of the tournament and I see they have degraded into something I'd not wished to imagine.

I truely feel disheartened to continue hosting tournaments further, frankly, my interests are on "business" and furthering my own development by replacing unproductive hobbies with productive ones, which in turn will expand and build the mind. My hobbies will be aimed at my growth, such as studying Platonic Monism, hiking, mountaineering, (new to photography); got myself some starter gear. I aim to explore the world more in my free time and invest into things that promote my growth as an individual.

Critics, save your words until you've tried to manage a tournament yourself, less you be caught out in your words and be found a hypocrite, it'd be wise to hold your tongue behind your teeth until you've walked in another man's shoes.

As a response to some who complained about the CFG used for the Grand Finals, granted (Promod- E) Isn't the most polished config and it definitely isn't the wisest decision to be used for balanced tournament play, it was retarded by nature, but I felt the increased spitter damage would encourage survivor teams to play more "intelligently".

Aside from the cup, I've taken some notes and have written down things that have deep meaning to me so that I can keep my focus and continue working on them; such as being a better and more productive person, forwarding myself into becoming the best I can be as a man. I really do aim to keep to what I write down in my journal, I aim to constantly move forward and live this life to the best that I can; whether this life be all there is or not, either way we all will face the doorway to "infinity", whether it'd be death forever or a new life, I'll go with Pascal's Wager, either way I aim to make the best of what I have now and going forward.

(Conclusion) - Congratulations to team Pubstar for winning the cup; I have more to add for Pubstar but I'll keep their part short. All teams who've participated in the cup I hope you enjoyed the time you've spent and had fun, Spoon and perhaps Sou will be hosting tournaments for the future of l4d2. As for me, the land of make believe is a place I can no longer find solace and drift to. Thank you all for being a part of this tournament.

**SIDENOTE**
Sorry for the disgusting behaviour that occurred during the first grand finals match, quite a lot of this has happened over the course of the tournament and we are disappointed to see it grasp our Grand Finals match. The level of disrespect shown has sent all admins, including myself (sou) over the limit. Congratulations to Pubstar, despite how the grand final turned out, we still believe you were the better team. Hope all teams enjoyed this relatively stable tournament, our premiss was to give teams from all over the world a new scene to play in, with new(old) configs and maps that people barely see in tournaments anyway. Of course a tournament with those kind of parameters always will result in glitches and issues, but we tried our best to make a fresh take on L4D2 competitive. Congratulations to all respected teams for making playoffs, and well done to Pubstar for winning the cup, despite the situation. Matches are currently being recorded by sou and will be uploaded to his channel when he has the time. For convenience if you wish to watch the matches there will be a playlist on his channel.

Thanks to all of you who showed the tournament support, even if it was just through watching the twitch VODS, watching the live streams, or even just talking to your friends about the next upcoming match and hyping it up even more.

Once again, congratulations to Pubstar and hope every single team in this tournament had a great time. Was definitely a tournament to remember.
