2022年2月14日，加拿大移民部公布了最新的移民三年规划， 宣布2022-2024年加拿大计划接受132.9万移民，比之前的三年规划多出30多万。其中2022年吸收431645人，2023年吸收447055人，2024年吸收451000人。

2022年，EE的配额明显减少，只有55900人，这主要是由于移民局案例积压严重导致， 预计要到2024年配额才能恢复正常水平。从2021年9月份开始，EE只邀请PNP申请人，目前移民部并没有恢复常规邀请的动向。
