The book I recently read is the Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer. We’re often too afraid to ask for help, because to ask for help is to feel like you’re being ‘weak’. So we bottle all of it inside and get stressed out. Amanda Palmer’s book is an honest and genuine reminder to all of us that sometimes, it’s OK to open up and to throw yourself into the embrace of family and loved ones.  It is a reminder that people care, and we should give ourselves the opportunity to be surprised when help comes from the most unexpected of places.
