Career Unlocked - our behaviour-based assessment (BBA)-numerical and/or abstract reasoning abilities and natural behavioural preferences. These are also known as gamified or game-based assessments. https://elearn.pwc.co.uk/onlineassessments/index.htm
Once you've applied to a role, the next stage will be a series of behaviour-based assessments that measure your cognitive skills and behavioural preferences. We'll be looking at your numerical and abstract reasoning abilities and natural behavioural preferences. For instance, how you overcome challenges, how you work towards goals and how you make decisions. Our BBA is delivered in an engaging Game Based format, which can be downloaded to your phone, tablet or computer. For this reason, these types of test are commonly known as gamified or game-based assessments (GBAs).
PwC have a set of core values that define who we are and how we behave, such as acting with integrity and making a difference. These values guide us in our work with each other and our clients, and determine our success.
It can also help to consider the particular skills that employers look for in their people. The PwC Professional is a global leadership development framework that highlights the key attributes needed to be successful now and in the future.
Make sure you're in a quiet, distraction-free environment and follow the instructions provided.
If you would like to better understand what a behavioural-based assessment looks like, have a go on the 'Arctic Shores Trial App' (see the resources section - folder icon in the top right - for more information and to download the trial app).

Q5 What's the ratio of employees in the Construction sector across all three years shown? That's correct. The correct answer is C. You need to divide the 2017 figure for the Construction sector (5686) by 2016 figure (5700) to reach the first ratio (1:0.998); then divide the 2018 figure (5796) by the 2017 (5686) to reach the second ratio (1:1.019).

you're about to start working on a project and will be physically based at the client's site for the next two weeks. You'll be working with a new team, and for a new Director who you have never met or worked for before, so this is completely new to you. You've been brought in to help as the deadline is in two weeks. It's Friday morning, and you're due to start the project on Monday, but have yet to be given a briefing on exactly what you're required to do. You want to make a good impression and get working on the project quickly. Do you:
Answer the question to continue.
Request to speak with the Director to get a full brief on the project and what your role is before you start on the project.
?Ask your Manager if there are any colleagues already on the project that you could speak to in order to increase your understanding of the culture in your new team.
Actively research the client's industry and speak to a colleague already on the project to get an understanding of the work.
Speak to colleagues who have worked in the client's industry and get their input and advice.
Question 2 - situational judgement test
It's your second week of a new project at PwC. Everyone in the team has been friendly and welcoming, but you notice that you've joined at a very busy time and you're soon given a piece of work to support with. Your Manager has explained the scope of the work and tells you it's an important piece that will be used in a pitch to a potential new client next week. Your Manager is on annual leave for the next few days but tells you that you have all the resources you need to complete the work.
When you have time to look at the task later that day, you begin to feel a little overwhelmed and over the next few days feel like you aren't making any progress. With the deadline approaching, what do you do?
Answer the question to continue.
Book some time with the client and try to respond to all the queries on your own.
?Answer as many queries as you can but ask for help from another colleague in the team with some of the more complex queries.
Deal with the queries that you can, and let the client know that your Manager will deal with the remainder of the queries on her return from holiday.
Seek help from your colleagues who are more experienced than you on how best to deal with the queries. Ask for their support to share the work out.
t's 2pm and you've just received a phone call from your Manager, who has asked you to review a large set of data and provide them with suggestions on how the team can support the client tomorrow morning. Following the call, you receive an email from your Manager with several large files attached, which will take a few hours to work through, but you've made plans to meet with a friend at 5.30pm. Do you:
Answer the question to continue.
?Go through each file methodically, taking out the relevant information as you go, working in a systematic way, knowing you may not get through it all by 5.30pm.
Randomly pick out files and look at the data, hoping it will give you a good snapshot of the information because you know you won't do it all by 5.30pm.
?Explore options for automating data analysis, knowing it will take all the time you have but would make the information easily understandable for your Manager.
Make suggestions based on your previous knowledge of this client and use some of the data to check if your suggestions are correct.
