What makes some jobs more popular than others?

There are several factors.

One is in terms of the environment.

If you work in a place where the working climate is easy, is democratic , you may feel more easy to survive in such place.

I mean, no one would like to be trapped in a complicated network

 

Besides, salaries also matter.

People are easily attracted by competitive salaries

Why people ‘s idea of perfect job changes as they grow older?

Well, firstly, I don't think there is a thing called perfect perfect job

As long as they are  jobs,  there are some  duties and responsibilities that you have to undertake even though you may dislike.

When we are younger, we are more idealistic

We  think the job the perfect job is a sweet candy , is  interesting  

 However, when we grow older, we become more realistic

in China we have a saying that a good job is those with higher salary ,less work and close to your home ,which reflects people’s understanding about perfect job

It reflects somehow human nature that they want to harvest without being too diligent

 Undeniably, money is very important ,otherwise we may find it difficult to survive, to enjoy quality life.

However, beyond that, your future career development opportunities ,the chemistry between you and the boss, and the overall company climate also matter, Cause these will decide whether you will stay in this place for a long period time of  jump to another place , whether you can have a sustainable development in the company and whether you feel happy in your work.

Well, colleagues can be either your superiors / bosses  , your peers

Or, if you lead a team, you may have subordinates.

So, for one thing, their personality will affect you.

I mean, some people are sweet,  they're easy to deal with.

Like, they can understand you from your shoes.

So, it's less likely to have conflicts with such people

 

 

Besides, if they do things in a fast manner, like if they can give feedback fast ,you will also feel your working efficiency is boosted,

otherwise you may end up waiting, waiting, and  waiting ,which is rather bothersome

it is true  that ,nowadays remote working has gained  increasing popularity especially in this pandemic.

 

However, there are some problems

If people always work at home, they may feel less connected with other colleagues.

And the  morale of  the company will be affected.  

 

In terms of benefits

 for the company ,they can save cost

Even though during the pandemic, companies can still do business

For individuals ,they can enjoy more flexibility on the job.

With the help of the remote working devices ,like the conference system ,people can have simultaneous communication and update with each other.

in this sense, there is no huge difference between working online and working offline

 

However, I do think there is some concern ,as I mentioned .

I think for some jobs like writing codes ,they can work at home ,but they still have to come to the company to meet other people  on a weekly or monthly basis ,otherwise there is no difference between those who work for a company and those who are solo workers
