约翰福音4:1-10
1 Ὡς οὖν ἔγνω ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι ἤκουσαν οἱ φαρισαῖοι ὅτι Ἰησοῦς πλείονας μαθητὰς ποιεῖ καὶ βαπτίζει ἢ Ἰωάννης
4:1 The Pharisees heard that Jesus was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John,
4:1 主知道法利赛人听见他收门徒施洗比约翰还多、
Ὡς = just as 当……
οὖν = then 因此
ἔγνω = he knew 他知道
ὁ Ἰησοῦς = Jesus 耶稣
ὅτι = that 那
ἤκουσαν = they heard 他们听
οἱ φαρισαῖοι = the Pharisees 法利赛人

πλείονας = more 更多
μαθητὰς = disciples 门徒
ποιεῖ = he does 他做

βαπτίζει = he baptizes 他施洗

2 καίτοιγε Ἰησοῦς αὐτὸς οὐκ ἐβάπτιζεν ἀλλ' οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ
4:2 although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples.
4:2 （其实不是耶稣亲自施洗、乃是他的门徒施洗)
καίτοιγε = although 尽管
Ἰησοῦς = Jesus 耶稣
αὐτὸς = himself 他自己
οὐκ = not 不
ἐβάπτιζεν = he was baptizing 他在施洗
ἀλλ' = but 而
οἱ μαθηταὶ = the disciples 那些门徒
αὐτοῦ = his 他的
3 ἀφῆκεν τὴν Ἰουδαίαν καὶ ἀπῆλθεν πάλιν εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν.
4:3 When the Lord learned of this, he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.
4:3 他就离了犹太、又往加利利去．
ἀφῆκεν = he left 他离开了
τὴν Ἰουδαίαν = the Judea 犹太
καὶ = and 而
ἀπῆλθεν = he left 他去了
πάλιν = again 再一次
εἰς = into 进到
τὴν Γαλιλαίαν = the Galilee 加利利
4 ἔδει δὲ αὐτὸν διέρχεσθαι διὰ τῆς Σαμαρείας.
4:4 Now he had to go through Samaria.
4:4 必须经过撒玛利亚。
ἔδει = he had to 他必须
δὲ = but 而
αὐτὸν = him 他
διέρχεσθαι = to go through 去经过
διὰ = through 穿过
τῆς Σαμαρείας = of the Samaria 撒玛利亚的
5 ἔρχεται οὖν εἰς πόλιν τῆς Σαμαρείας λεγομένην Συχὰρ πλησίον τοῦ χωρίου ὃ ἔδωκεν Ἰακὼβ [τῷ] Ἰωσὴφ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ:
4:5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph.
4:5 于是到了撒玛利亚的一座城、名叫叙加、靠近雅各给他儿子约瑟的那块地。
ἔρχεται = he comes 他到了
οὖν = then 然后
εἰς = into 进入
πόλιν = city 城
τῆς Σαμαρείας = of the Samaria 撒玛利亚的
λεγομένην = called 被叫
Συχὰρ = Sychar 叙加
πλησίον = near 靠近
τοῦ χωρίου = of the ground 那地的
ὃ = which 那
ἔδωκεν = he gave 他给了
Ἰακὼβ = Jacob 雅各
[τῷ] Ἰωσὴφ = to Joseph 给约瑟
τῷ υἱῷ = to the son 给那儿子
αὐτοῦ = his 他的
6 ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ πηγὴ τοῦ Ἰακώβ. ὁ οὖν Ἰησοῦς κεκοπιακὼς ἐκ τῆς ὁδοιπορίας ἐκαθέζετο οὕτως ἐπὶ τῇ πηγῇ: ὥρα ἦν ὡς ἕκτη.
4:6 Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
4:6 在那里有雅各井。耶稣因走路困乏、就坐在井旁．那时约有午正。

ἐκεῖ = there 那里
πηγὴ = well 井
τοῦ Ἰακώβ = of Jacob 雅各的
ὁ = the 那

Ἰησοῦς = Jesus 耶稣
κεκοπιακὼς = having worked, tired 劳苦的，困乏的
ἐκ τῆς ὁδοιπορίας = out of the journey 从那旅程
ἐκαθέζετο = he sat 他坐下来
οὕτως = so 如此
ἐπὶ = upon 在……之上
τῇ πηγῇ = the well 那井
ὥρα = hour 时刻
ἦν = was 它是
ὡς = almost 几乎
ἕκτη = sixth 第六
7 Ἔρχεται γυνὴ ἐκ τῆς Σαμαρείας ἀντλῆσαι ὕδωρ. λέγει αὐτῇ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Δός μοι πεῖν:
4:7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?"
4:7 有一个撒玛利亚的妇人来打水．耶稣对他说、请你给我水喝。
Ἔρχεται = he comes 她来
γυνὴ = woman 女人
ἐκ τῆς Σαμαρείας = out of the Samaria 从撒玛利亚
ἀντλῆσαι = to draw 去取水
ὕδωρ = water 水
λέγει = he says 他说
αὐτῇ = to her 对她
ὁ Ἰησοῦς = Jesus 耶稣
Δός = you should give 你当给
μοι = to me 给我
πεῖν = to drink 去喝
8 οἱ γὰρ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπεληλύθεισαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν, ἵνα τροφὰς ἀγοράσωσιν.
4:8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
4:8 那时门徒进城买食物去了。
οἱ = the 那些
γὰρ = for 因为
μαθηταὶ = disciples 门徒
αὐτοῦ = his 他的
ἀπεληλύθεισαν = they had left 他们已经去了
εἰς τὴν πόλιν = into the city 到那城
ἵνα = so that 以至于
τροφὰς = food 食物
ἀγοράσωσιν = they would buy 他们会去买
9 λέγει οὖν αὐτῷ ἡ γυνὴ ἡ Σαμαρῖτις, Πῶς σὺ Ἰουδαῖος ὢν παρ' ἐμοῦ πεῖν αἰτεῖς γυναικὸς Σαμαρίτιδος οὔσης; {οὐ γὰρ συγχρῶνται Ἰουδαῖοι Σαμαρίταις.}
4:9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
4:9 撒玛利亚的妇人对他说、你既是犹太人、怎么向我一个撒玛利亚妇人要水喝呢。原来犹太人和撒玛利亚人没有来往。

γὰρ = for 因为
συγχρῶνται = they associate 他们维持好关系
Ἰουδαῖοι = Jews 犹太人
Σαμαρίταις. = to Samarians 对撒玛利亚人
10 ἀπεκρίθη Ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ, Εἰ ᾔδεις τὴν δωρεὰν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τίς ἐστιν ὁ λέγων σοι, Δός μοι πεῖν, σὺ ἂν ᾔτησας αὐτὸν καὶ ἔδωκεν ἄν σοι ὕδωρ ζῶν.
4:10 Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."
4:10 耶稣回答说、你若知道 神的恩赐、和对你说给我水喝的是谁、你必早求他、他也必早给了你活水。
ἀπεκρίθη = he answered 他回答
Ἰησοῦς = Jesus 耶稣

ᾔδεις = you knew 你知道了
