In fact, his benefits are:

✔ he got the Angel of rose school of thought in trouble being pursued by artificial death therefore he can't find trouble for Klein

✔ he got a lucky charm which he will sell. The money can offset some of what he owes to Reinette

✔ he got a Sequence 5 marionette 🙌 to help in his acting. Also, having that fella around is like having extra armour to even tank bullets.

✔ he might just have gotten mother tree of desire off his back since she no longer knows where he is. Unless he bumps into one of the people which is unlikely

It's too bad he doesn't get the memories of those he turns into a marionette or else his intelligence gathering would be astounding.

With a Wraith's possession abilities, it looks like Klein can use the Wraith to control someone for him. Basically, using his puppet to control another puppet temporarily. Of course, it doesn't look like the possessed target will die from use, unlike the marionette. It's pretty convenient how Klein can just stick him inside in shiny object. This is way more convenient than carrying around someone with a physical body.

A revenge tale of a betrayed sailor who is bent on revenge and becomes the mysterious Count to exact it. So far if you look carefully, all of his created identities had some similarity to their character counterparts. Not any direct correlations, but enough to be a nod of the head towards certain famous characters. Sherlock was a detective. Sparrow an adventurer and a bit of a pirate... If the theme holds, we may see some reflected traits of Edmond's character from the famous novel.

I think Dwayne Dantès will be a charming character. Different type from before. Sherlock was still an outsider and kept a low profile in Backlund. Sparrow was craziest adventurer so he met various interesting people during his journey in sea. However, Dwayne's stage is the circle of middle or high class, the core of the power of church and military. I hope he attracted the eyes of beautiful noble ladies sexy officers and good church staffs, of course not the Demoness anymore.

I don't think those two personas are dead, they are too useful for Klein in certain situations. Pretty sure Klein will go back to the seas at some point to fight some of his enemies...like that admiral of the death pathway and the rose school of thought. That Gherman persona will be useful then

So it seems that although he won't be making much public appearance, Klein fully intends to make full use of Sherlock's network.

Either we get the savvy detective or the middle aged dandy trying to find a foothold in high society. Fun times ahead, especially for fans of the more intellectual or sophisticated character.

As gentlemanly as Gehrman is, he is well... Insane and Brutal after all 😅

所以目前看来，虽然克莱恩没有怎么公开露面，但他已经把夏洛克原本的关系网完全利用起来了。

要么是一个精明的侦探，要么是一个想要在上流社会中站稳脚跟的中年花花公子。看来以后会很有意思，特别是对于那些喜欢更聪明、形象更复杂的角色的粉丝们来说。

I like the fact that that he is using his network. It's a nice change of pace for a protagonist to work from the shadows and actually work his connections and delegate.

我喜欢他立刻就用上了自己所有的社交网这一点。对于主角来说，原本他的方式是在阴影中活动，现在逐渐开始切实地建立关系网和解决委托，这种步调的改变就很不错。

Agreed completely.

Lone wolf MCs are cheaper than dirt around here, even kingdom building like stories are somehow a one man show too most of the time.

Tarot Club and The Celestial Sect of Wonders are very much the rare exception that's more to my taste. OP/special mc sure but at least their club members/students are actual characters that grows alongside them instead of a throwaway cutout.

完全同意。独狼型的主角简直遍地都是，甚至连许多建立王朝类型的故事，很多都是充斥着主角独角戏的描写。

塔罗会和《史上第一祖师爷》里面的玄门天宗大概是极少数的例外了，起码以我的品位来说。主角是很强很特殊，但至少他们手下的会员/学生都是一直存在的角色，而且和他们一起成长，而不是被落在后面然后直接消失。

I love all of his personas honestly.... It was always fun to watch our lovely Mr. Sparrow pull a gun on someone just to stay in character. Though I am looking forward to what chess plays are going to happen next.

说真的，克莱恩所有的身份我都喜欢……每次看到我们可爱的斯帕罗先生对着某人拔枪都很有意思，而且很符合人设。不过我还是很期待接下来会是怎样的策略，会发生什么。

I would never sell that poison bottle. He can use it in combination with the Spirit Treads. It's too good. Sell the necklace instead since it is useless. Well, now that I think about it he'll be going up against Sequence 5 and higher foes where the poison wouldn't help much.

换成是我，那个生物毒素平我绝对不会卖的。他可以用它和灵体之线打配合啊。这实在是太好用了。可以把项链卖掉，那玩意没啥用。嗯，现在我觉得他应该是要对付序列5及以上的敌人了，这样的话毒素瓶可能派不上用场。
