The second K10-based Sempron microprocessor, model 145, was released in May 2010. The CPU uses C3 revision of the core, which now supports two DDR3-1333 modules per memory channel, and adds hardware C1E low-power state. Beside the new stepping, the AMD 145 is clocked 100 MHz faster than Sempron 140, and in all other aspects this this model is similar to 140. Internally the Sempron 145 is still based on Regor core with one CPU core disabled.

AMD updates Athlon II and Phenom II lineups
Sep 21, 2010: Today AMD launched 6 new desktop models, which span across six different Athlon II and Phenom II families. Also, two budget-class models, Sempron 145 and Athlon II X2 220, are now available as boxed processors. The new processors are offered in a wide range of prices, from budget dual-core Athlon II 265 at $76 and up to high-performance Phenom II 1075T at $245.
AMD Sempron 180 mini-review
Sep 17, 2010: At the end of July we published preliminary specifications of Sempron 180 microprocessors. Recently, we acquired one the these Semprons, ran a series of benchmarks on it, and compared them with test results of other budget AMD and Intel CPUs. This mini-review presents partial benchmarking results and our thoughts of them, and it will be useful for those who consider buying either pre-built system with this Sempron CPU, or OEM version of this microprocessor.
New AMD desktop CPUs are on the way
Aug 11, 2010: AMD is getting close to introducing a new wave of Athlon II and Phenom II desktop microprocessors. This time we will see a variety a CPUs from single-core Sempron 145 to six-core 1075T.
Sempron 145, Athlon II X2 220 and B26 OEM processors
May 26, 2010: When two months ago we posted a list of then planned microprocessors, we listed Sempron 145 and Athlon II X2 models, accompanied by Athlon II X2, X3 and X4 models that were launched on May 11. It was not clear at the time what happened to 145 and 220 models. Today we were able to confirm that Athlon II X2 220 and Sempron 145 are shipped to OEMs, and can be obtained in HP Compaq 6005 Pro business PC.
Upcoming AMD desktop processors
Mar 24, 2010: This quarter AMD released only three Athlon II-branded models, dual-core 255 (3.1 GHz), triple-core 440 (3 GHz) and quad-core 635 (2.9 GHz), and two new quad-core Phenom II models - 555 and 910e. Second quarter should be much more interesting as we will see six-core Phenoms (posted earlier this month), and many new Athlon II models.

I got a nice 145 and it unlocked very stable (cpuz accuses "athlon ii 445"), at least it holded 4 hours of prime95 without problems. The temp rise is 2-3 °C when idle, and 9-10 °C when load, comparing with the single core.

This is a real good processor for its price, don't doubt it !
You can run it as a Duel-core, overclocked processor for high end gaming performance or frequency-scaling/under clock to save power.
Great overclocker

Gotten this chip unlocked to dual core, and overclocked to 4.0 GHz on air - yes, using an air cooler (a good, expensive one, though). Used 1.375 volts to achieve stability.
