How do you know that the stories of the poor isn't part of the main plot? If there are no writings about what the poor really facing, can you really imagine their deep despair enough to feed and nurture the evil God's spawn? Even in reality today, there are still people who thinks that the issue with the poor is because they are lazy, stupid and natural born terrorist without a second thought. Giving a pale statement about the issue and move on with the story is convenient, but then those ignorant will start questioning the authorities for not simply capture and kill those "evil terrorist " who cause the descending of evil God.

The details about poverty and history of the City of Silver are incredible examples of world-building in writing, something many web novels on this site lack. One of the greatest traits of this author is that he makes me think about situations I otherwise wouldn't.
If you want a story that only has poorly-written action with no plot or world-building, there are plenty of others for you to choose from. This site specializes in quantity over quality, after all.
Without this level of world-building, I wouldn't be half as interested in this series as I am now.

Ammon used to be an Egyptian main God, too. He used to be the dominant God before Echnaton introduced Aton (the Sun God) as the one and only God people were supposed to believe in. After Echnaton's death people destroyed Aton's statues and temples and hacked off Echnaton's face from reliefs and statues and returned to worshiping Ammon.
Would be funny if this Amon character had some rivalry with the Eternal Blazing Sun. Perhaps the city of silver was left in the darkness because the Sun wasn't willing to shine for its enemies?

Gudddammmmnnnn. This novel is filled with intrigue....Klein solves one problem, 2 dozen more questions pop up in its place. Why the huge time discrepancy between transmigrators?! How can Silver City and the Main World exist in the same timeline if one predates the other?! Why was Amon able to exist on both planes?! So many damn questions...so little answers... However, I believe we can make a solid hypothesis on why the “Evil Gods” are humanoid and the “True Gods” are symbol-esque. The Orthodox Gods and churches are spreading the propaganda that the “safe” Gods are symbolic to further hide the fact that Beyonders can become Gods. Since they successfully spread the belief that Gods were manifestations/embodiments of powers, not Beyonders who have transcended mortality, then Beyonders wont think that they too can ascend, and instead associate all humanoid Gods as Evil Gods. Honestly, if this is the case, the orthodox Gods are phenomenal schemers. Best and easiest way to hide something is to have the people looking at something else.

I think anyone that can reach those high sequences are schemers... especially those gods. They won the war in the second epoch, then started hiding history, like the first blasphemy slate. The third epoch is a complete blank, and the fourth a war between gods, if the small history revealed is to be believed. Then they started their new scheme in the fifth epoch, hiding as much history as possible, and even restricting knowledge on the acting method of digesting potions probably to restrict the number of high sequence beyonders, for whatever end goal scheme they have. Roselle was probably killed because of that mysterious end goal...but I just love the intrigue, world building and mythos in this novel

It seems that during the second epoch, all the old gods were displaced and the new ones came about, trying their best to hide that they once were not gods. It really asks the question if that original creator really existed and what really is the history buried in those myths and legends, like who was the original sun god?
As for Roselle, he really took himself as the protagonist of this world, too bad he left so much undone, causing all these complications for Klein

Perhaps the true creator was the king above the grey fog previously but got displaced himself by someone else :perhaps either Roselle or even Klein. And he didn't take it too kindly

Quite a lot, Sun will certainly be impressed that the Fool caught and dealt with something even the highest sequence beyonder in the Silver city did not catch. Also nice to see Klein first instinct is to help Sun, show that he do see Tarot card members as more then just pawns or resources.

My guess is that the 'Seer' god-requirement ritual is to be a transmigrator and use that 'luck ritual'. The reason why there are no Seer-gods is because transmigrators seem to be rarer than lottery winners and that ritual seems to be completely obscure (apparently it's more well-known on Earth, a completely different universe, and even then it's obscure)

I think he's familiar at least with the power of the Gray Fog.
Most likely he first heard of The Fool from Derricks prayer. He was kinda semi-possessing him during the ritual.
我觉得他至少是对灰雾的力量比较熟悉。

He probably has an inkling about the gray fog that Klein uses, but learnt of the Fool from Derrick. He might try to take control of that space from Klein if he is not prepared. At least now Klein knows of the threat

But Amon intention is still a mysterious. He stayed imprisoned for over 40 years. If he hold animosity towards terrorist Silver City, he could have did it long ago. After all, even the sealed artifact the Silver City rely on doesn't detect him.

Considering he said as expected he may have done something similar to divination and predicted that he would meet the fool, if low sequence beyonders can sense danger to their life which is kinda predicting the future it would get more accurate the higher it goes
And tarot cards exist so he could have divined something random and saw the tarot card corresponding with fool and with Derrick's prayer confirmed it.
