因此，本次就由结果状语从句为状从画上一个完美的句号，结束九大状从的漫长学习之旅。(☄⊙ω⊙)☄ 


在结果状语从句中，从句部分是用以说明主句中谓语动词发生的结果，引导结果状从的常见连词主要有so that, so…that, such…that等，知识点详解如下：


1). so that，表示“因此，所以”；

He studied hard so that he passed the exam.

It was very cold, so that the river froze..

so that既可引导目的状从（为了，以便）， 也可引导结果状从（因此，所以）。

关于两者的区别，我们在目的状从中分享过，不知各位大侠还记得否：通常情况下，目的状从中含情态动词；结果状从中不含情态动词；

I always get up early so that I can catch the first bus. (目的状从)

I got up early, so that I caught the first bus. (结果状从)


2). so...that...表示“如此...，以至于...”，so后面接形容词或副词，结构为：so+adj./adv.+that...

He was so ill that two nurses took care of him.

He was so angry that he couldn't speak.

He ran so fast that I could not see him.


3). such...that...表示“如此...，以至于...”，such后面接名词，常见的结构用法如下：

a. such+a/an+adj.+单数可数名词+that = so+adj.+a/an+n.+that；

It's such an interesting film that we all want to see it.

= It's so interesting a film that we all want to see it.

He's such a good swimmer that he makes me look sick.

= He's so good a swimmer that he makes me look sick.


b. such+adj.+复数可数名词+that；

He told us such funny stories that we all laughed.

They are such fine teachers that we all like them.


c. such+adj.+不可数名词+that。

It is such terrible weather that it is unfit to go out.

It is such nice information that I would like to share with you.


★★ 注意 ：so…that 与 such…that 的用法比较

1. so后面要接形容词或副词，而such后接名词（参见上面的例句）；


2. such+a/an+adj.+单数可数名词+that = so+adj.+a/an+n.+that，这个名词只能是单数可数名词，不能是复数名词或不可数名词；

He is such a clever child that we all like him.（✔️）

He is so clever a child that we all like him.（✔️）

They are such clever children that we all like them.（✔️）

They are so clever children that we all like them.（✖️）

It is so terrible weather that it is unfit to go out.（✖️）


3. 但在much，many，little，few 这四个词前面只能用so，不用such。

He earns so little money that he can hardly feed his family.（✔️）

He earns such little money that he can hardly feed his family.（✖️）

He had so many falls that he was black and blue all over.（✔️）

He had such many falls that he was black and blue all over.（✖️）
