Chillin'" [ft. Lady Gaga]
翻译:thesweetescape

With Gaga doing her best Maya and Wale saying things like, "I'm the same way-- M.I.A./ Me, Cool and Dre get high like planes," you've got to wonder: Why not get the real Ms. Arulpragasam on the hook? After all, a long-anticipated first official single from the mixtape fave featuring M.I.A. would get every single rap, pop, and (ahem) indie rock [ft. hip-hop] blog atwitter! How dare those folks at Interscope deprive us nerds of a collaboration that will skip over to the Next Page before 4 p.m.?! Maybe because Wale knows he has the nerds; the nerds will ride. I mean, who else are we going to seriously back rap-wise in 2009, Charles Hamilton? Please.
Lady Gaga正卖力歌唱时,Wale却说唱道 "I'm the same way-- M.I.A./ Me, Cool and Dre get high like planes,"你不禁疑惑:为何不邀请真正的M.I.A. 深受听众喜爱的M.I.A.
Wale says his name nine times on "Chillin'". It's called branding. "My name Wale and I came to get it." Hi, my name is! etc. If you already know his name maybe this song isn't for you. But there's enough Mixtape About Nothing to satiate the non-masses, though references to McLovin will spark more than Mills Lane. It's way more respectable than, say, "Lollipop" though it's no "Lollipop". He walks that path between blog heavy and normal-dude-who-can't-check-Nah-Right-12-times-a-day well. Only thing that really rubs me is that Jock Jams sample. Unnecessary. But, hey (hey hey), people still go to basketball games. That's a communal experience-- more so than rocking the Skullcandy in front of the PowerBook. That's what I call crossover.
(歌词) "My name Wale and I came to get it." Hi, my name is!
