英国语文第一课 我的猫 Lesson 1 MY CAT

I have a cat,       我有一只猫

Its name is Tit     它叫迪特；

And by the fire      它喜欢呆在火炉旁。

It loves to sit.

From off the rug      从毯子上跳下来

It scarce will stir,      它从不害怕，

But there will sit        它会整天咕噜着趴在那儿。

All day and purr.

Each  day I bring      每天

Its dish of milk,          我会给它一盘牛奶

And smooth its coat   抚顺它像丝绸一样发亮的毛。

To shine like silk.

And on my knee      时常

It oft will sit;              它会趴在我的膝盖上

And I love it.              我很喜欢它
