Internet community back then (say from ''95 to 2000). Message boards, IRC, handmade personal pages in html,.. Maybe it''s just nostalgia, but I remember it as a really friendly place, certainty less toxic than internet nowadays.

It was completely normal for every kid back then to walk alone (without parents) to school. Today, you can get social services upon yourself as a parent if you''d do that. I see a lot of parents today controlling their children to, what seems to me, a silly degree. Like parents carefully watching and overseeing 7, 8 year olds from 20 meters away. I was getting lost in local forests, climbing trees, chasing snakes or practicing swordwork with friends at that age and parents at that time took it as normal. :/

19、One thing I didn''t really appreciate in the 90s was how comfortable fashionable clothes were. Trainers, baggy jeans, baggy t-shirts, maybe throw an undone shirt over the top. It was a time when you could almost put any old random stuff on, look trendy, and be really comfortable.
