I don’t think so. I think it is safe to say that some traditional festivals may be experiencing changes or adaptations, but I think it would be very wrong to say that they are disappearing. Granted, some festivals have lost their popularity. But the cases in China is that almost all traditional Chinese festivals are still being celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and by a lot of people. Additionally, I want to say that the younger generation, especially the ones in China. They are very interested in learning about diverse cultures. That includes the cultures in China and also from other countries. So you don’t have to worry about traditional festivals disappearing, because there are a lot of Chinese people, young people. They are safeguarding our tradition.
