同学们 大家好，在下邦德老师
最近 很多同学 在后台 告诉我 国内的 很多 “瓜”
我发现 真的是 吃不完
因为 我看新闻 还要去 查 这个人 是谁
我 转念一想：如果 这种瓜 没完没了 怎么办？
如果 保持一个频率，一个月 一个小瓜
三个月 一个 大瓜
那 岂不是 我们所有的 精力 都要被 消耗殆尽了么
明星 正常时候 就靠 吸引注意力 赚钱
结果 出事了，依然 要占用 我们的 注意力
那 看来 在这个时代
如何 控制 注意力 是 一门手艺~
有感而发，我 写了 一首诗

Text messages, Snapchat, web sites
YouTube, Facebook, tracking likes
Photos on your Instagram
Data collected, sorted, collated
Sold to those who want to sell to the masses
Race, age, interests, demographics, politics and class
Your face recognized in every picture
Not by people first but by a automated process
Automatic updates dressed up as progress
Every single thing you do, every thought
Followed online because that is what we choose
People saying there’s nothing to lose
And yet
Data, pervading our modern world
But maybe you heard
That as of right now, for so many, to so much
You’re just a point, a graph, a line
And while some say that’s just fine
I can’t help but think of all that’s missed
So much out there, hard to quantify
And they say numbers don’t lie
But do they tell the truth?
Of that I’m not so sure
People have to be much more
Than just factoids, clicks, views, likes and credit scores
And yet
Here we are now in this world where information
Is too little, data causes disorientation
Go online, it’s plain to see
There’s data on every little bit of your life
And we wonder why there’s strife
In the streets
But here we are, obsessed with numbers with no meaning
So little is actually what it seems and
Yet we go online and rank everything from Pokemon to pornstars
Coffee shops, banks loans, salons, airlines, cars
All given convenient numbers, data bars
Data points everywhere
And yet
Data on every aspect of our existence
No way for us to make it all make sense
That much is known by all
The question that we need to ask
Are we now up to this task
To simplify, minimize, take away
Distill data down to information
Applied, used, understood, remember that sensation?
When things made sense not because
The data said it did but because you knew
Processed, thought, meditated, discussed, grew
Found the answers, understanding, something true
Remember that? I wish I did. Damn
