原视频简介:

Footage from my recent trip to Hegang, one of the largest coal producing regions in Heilongjiang province. The once bustling coal railway is still active, although production is clearly down from previous years with the current low demand for coal. The EL2 electric locomotives still dominate the railway since my first visit over 13 years prior. The SY steam locomotives have been replaced by diesels (upcoming video). Footage here is taken from around the washery at Nanshan and includes a short cabride in an east German built EL2 electric locomotive from the washery to one of the small coal mines.
