Do you like art?

Yes, for sure. I’m quite into art, especially visual arts. In my opinion, both viewing and creating art can be so enjoyable. For one thing, I could always find inspiration in others’ works of art. For another, expressing myself through my own art could also help me unwind and become more creative.

Do you like art galleries?

Yes, definitely. Like I said, I’m inspired and intrigued by great artworks in galleries. When I look at a piece of art, my imagination runs wild: I couldn’t help but wonder about the story behind it. Besides, I find art museums so therapeutic. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere really brings me comfort. It’s just a great place to hang out for introverts like me.

Do you want to be an artist?

Yes and no. I mean, life as an artist does sound romantic, but it doesn’t pay the bills, especially considering I’m not that artistically gifted. However, if it’s making art in my free time as an amateur artist, then yes. In fact, I used to be really good at drawing still life and anime characters when I was younger. And I’m planning to take it up once again when life gets less hectic.

Do you like modern art or traditional art?

Well, I’m not an expert on either, but I lean towards traditional art, simply because it stood the test of time and could teach me a lot about history and culture. Also, I find some classical paintings like Mona Lisa and Girl with a Pearl Earring so mysterious and mesmerizing. I really don’t know much about modern art, though, apart from the fact that some modern paintings tend to use very bold colors, which is not quite my thing. I prefer something softer and duller.
