大家在阅读时，先不要看答案，先根据前面讲过的例句思索这一句，看看自己有
没有灵光乍现那一刻。
So long as we strictly implement the Government Administration Council's
Decision on Unifying National Financial and Economic Work, after we go through
several months of difficulties, we have every reason to expect that the financial
situation will gradually improve.
只要我们严格落实政务院关于统一全国财政和经济工作的决定，经过几个月的困难，
我们完全有理由期待金融形势会逐渐好转。
外籍专家修改如下：
So long as we strictly implement the Government Administration Council's
Decision on Unifying National Financial and Economic Work, we have every
reason to expect that after a few difficult months, the finanical situation will
gradually improve.
在原句中“after we go through several months of difficulties”修饰 “We have every
reason”.而在修改后的句子中，“after a few difficult months”修饰“improve”, 大家会
注意到，状语在不同的位置，修饰的动词会有不同。
再把这一句与前面讲过的进行对比：
Gao said that after years of effort, soil erosion has been brought under control in
16,700 square kilometers of the affected land areas, or 58% of the total.
会发现这这两个时间状语都放在"that"之后，并用逗号与后面的成分隔开。像这样
的结构，我在前面的视频中已经提到。
下面这一句是罗斯福就职演讲中的：
This is a day of national consecration. And I am certain that on this day my
fellow Americans expect that on my induction into the Presidency, I will adress
them with a candor and a decision which the present situation of our people impels.
今天对于我们的国家来说是一个神圣的日子。我肯定，同胞们都期待我在就任总统
时，会像我国形势所要求的那样，坦率而果断地向他们讲话。
我们会看到两个状语放在“that”之后，一个与后面的成分没有隔开，一个隔开。如果
两个都隔开，给人感觉句子太散了。
通过这样的学习，我们慢慢地会清楚状语的位置摆放不是随意的，而是上下文语境或
句子逻辑的需要。后面会分析段落及语境的需要。
思考题
I remember coming home to Charleroi after being away in the Army about two years.
