鸟臀目演化树
智利龙
命名论文放在兽脚亚目的坚尾龙类，后续研究放在鸟臀目。若兽脚亚目与鸟臀目更接近，而离蜥脚形亚目较远，则它可能是兽脚亚目与鸟臀目共同祖先的近亲。
皮萨诺龙
一些研究发现它属于西里龙科。不过，西里龙科本身也可能属于鸟臀目。
拉金塔龙、莱索托龙
一些研究发现它们属于装甲亚目。
工部龙............特狈路龙
一堆疑名，巧合角龙的化石是尺骨，其它的都是牙齿，所以分类不明，连属于装甲亚目还是新鸟臀类都不确定。
中国蜥结龙
疑名，装甲亚目位置未定。
小盾龙
分类稳定。
大地龙
化石较少，较少进行系统发育研究。
卞氏龙
2019年的研究认为它是疑名，可能和大地龙是一种动物。
莫阿大学龙
分类稳定。
腿龙
分类稳定。
葡萄牙龙
一开始被放在腿龙科，长年被冷落。2012年的研究将其年代鉴定为普连斯巴期早期。
安得拉龙
无资格名称，化石只有盔甲碎片，2019年的研究发现它的盔甲类似于结节龙科，而与腿龙的相似处较少。有可能是最古老的甲龙下目。
始奔龙
有时会处于基干鸟臀目。2017年的研究将其年代鉴定为侏罗纪初。
灵龙、何信禄龙、盐都龙
在许多研究中会三三两两的组成小演化支，如灵龙+何信禄龙、何信禄龙+盐都龙。
晓龙、真工部龙
分类不明的疑名，刚开始时被认为属于现在废弃的“棱齿龙科”。
三峡龙、灵龙、何信禄龙、盐都龙
它们都是中国新疆至重庆一带的较窄时间范围内的亲缘关系相近的恐龙。新鸟臀类诞生于三叠纪晚期或侏罗纪之初的南半球。几乎没有研究发现亲缘关系夹在三峡龙、灵龙、何信禄龙、盐都龙之间的其他恐龙。若它们不构成单系群，则会出现三峡龙、灵龙、何信禄龙、盐都龙各自的祖先，从南半球出发以东亚为目的地进行迁徙，不留恋途中的其他地区，且后代都延续了3000+万年的超低概率情形。若构成单系群，则可以出现一支它们的共同祖先迁徙至东亚后繁衍分化的高概率情形。
