They also have a couple of H-6E Badger bombers armed with FAB-500M-54 GPB iron bombs and an A-50 Mainstay A AEW plane.

An AEW plane is an high-value asset and a force multiplier, as its potent radar can track enemy forces at long range and send targeting information to the fighters.

Therefore, it should be a top priority to target it.

Interceptors armed with very-long range missiles, like the MiG-31 or the J-20, can be useful for this task.

These missiles have a lower PoH (90% for the long-range PL-15 and 85% for the very-long range AA-9 Amos and AA-13 Arrow), that will further decrease at long range. Using them against an agile fighter will likely result in a miss, but against non-maneuverable HVTs (AEW airplanes, tankers, transports etc.) are a serious threat.

When you localize the enemy A-50, send a MiG-31, T-50 PAK-FA, J-31 or J-20 to destroy it.

Note 1: You have some stealth airplanes under your command.

These airplanes are harder to detect and to target, and thus can get closer to the enemy.

You can even try to use your stealth airplanes to get within the range of enemy missiles and engage the Syrian planes with short-range weapons, but be careful!

Note 2: The Syrian Fulcrums are armed with medium and long-range missiles and are more dangerous than the other planes. You can try to engage them with very-long range missiles, but this will probably result in a miss. Alternatively, you can use a stealth fighter to engage them at closer range.

Make sure to properly set the WRA for your forces in the Doctrine Window (CTRL + SHIFT + F9).
