We shall praise Lie-down, we shall praise the idleness.
We praise Lie-down, for we have the right to live in peace and idleness.
This age of modern hath given us that massive productivity, that sufficient to feed up all of us in this state and to provide every one of us a comfortable and dignified life. Five hours for working, four days a week is not only possible, but also reasonable and demandable. That maketh this world so bleak and barren, is not worker’s laziness, but theirs greediness and iniquity.
We have rights to live in idleness, we have the rights to pursue happiness.
We praise Lie-down, for idleness is the fountain of creativity.
Lie-down meanth not sitting around and doing nothing; Lie-down meanth sparing no effort to pursue the happiness and beauty in our life.
Russell hath said, ’tis the idleness of man of wealth that created the greatness of civilization. Yes, those medals of greatness are made of poor’s blood and sweat. However, we can not deny that: it is their privilege of idleness begeteth their privilege of creativity.
Those who wrote down the epics and lyrics, those who designed the pantheon, those who draw the Genesis on the dome of Cappella Sistina, did not created for bread or butter, but for their enthusiasm and love. They created for they created. Twelve hours for working will not make this world prosper, but make it bleaker, number, more lifeless.
We praise Lie-down, for we should not work for Them.
For what thou all are working day and night now, brethen! For your dream, for the liberation of mankind? To whom art thine fruit of thine labour belongth? Belongth it to thy own, belongth it to our future?
We once cut for them our artery of youth, and there gusheth that blood glazing and steaming. It casteth those splendour of towns of neon, those verdant boulevards and those thundering traffics flow, but, which of them are ours?
We worked for them, we Lie-down for ourselves.
Lie-down is not doing-nothing, Lie-down is a movement; Lie-down is not depression and despair, Lay-down is the salute to our life; Lie-down is not irresponsible to this country, Lie-down is a remind, when this machine of billon’s of people is overloaded, approaching the edge of disaster, a considerate remind:
Praise not misery, let us praise happiness!
Praise not working, let us praise creation!
Praise not business, let us praise the Good Time of lying down on the lawn in the sunshine!
The busy men in the world, let us all unite!
