calibrate
calibrate的词源是从caliber或calibre加上-ate后缀,形成动词。caliber或calibre的词源是从中世纪法语calibre,再从阿拉伯语qalib,意思是“制造子弹的模具”。
记忆calibrate这个词的一个方法是把它和caliber联系起来,想象一个测量枪管内径或者其他仪器精度的过程。
calibrate有几个含义:
