Remaining fully mysterious with their members, with only Antti Klemi (Circle of Ouroborus, Absolute Key), being known to appear here on vocal duties and Noise as well (a collaboration that already happened with their previous record,"666"), Valtakunta continues to deliver a sound that is so notoriously theirs as it is notoriously Finnish, this time more akin to the more in-your-face approach of their self-titled debut I'd say, than with "666".

Combining the filthiness and rage of Punk, with the jam-like repetitive mottos and mantras and weird synths and effects of Krautrock's most psychedelic and otherwordly acts, and the unbridled aggression and iconoclastic nature of Black Metal, Valtakunta is like an equally balanced mix between Von, Brainbombs and Can, while surely evoking resemblance with their compatriots in Flooded Church of Asmodeus, Jumalhämärä, Rivologi...】
