Should school teach more life skills

“The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in a creative way ”(Robert Greene). When we are young, before the age of 22 our parents helped us to do the chorus. However when we grow up, we need to master some basic life skills like cooking and laundries. Yet most schools dose not teach about these life skills. In my opinion, I agree that school must teach more life skills since we need to be independent when we grow up. When someone is independent it means that they are all on their own. When we are grown-ups, parents will no longer take care of us. When we were in that situation, Inthe midst of challenging circumstances, it is crucial torely upon our basic skills to ensure our continuedexistence. And these skills must be taught when we are studying at school or it will be too late to learn them. It is argued that we can still learn these skills when we were independent online. When we are at school it is better to concentrate on school topics like science. The internet is now very advanced and we can always about the skillswhen we were free. So now if you can learn about these life skills on line you need to watch a minute video first,then you need to spent another a few hours or even a few days to get use to how the skills it will take to much of your time to learn only one skill. So why not master this skill when you are still young. So there is more time to do other things instead of learning a skill that you should have mastered already when you are already old. Some of the skills can also help them to find a part time job when they are in the college. Nearly four out of five U.S. students — including those in high school, community college, online college, or traditional college or university — work while in school, a survey by Citigroup and Seventeen magazine found, with the average working student putting in 19 hours a week during the school year. Now as a part time job they are to make money for their own living. So, when you already mastered a skills, it will be easier to get a part time job.For example, if you already mastered some basic technique such as public speaking, they can get a part time job like a wedding host or do speeches. Now some one may say that this situation only applies on the people who already mastered some techniques. Most people cannot do that. This means that most people cannotachieve that, so why not just stick to what they need to do so they do not need to worry about their money for learning. After they focus on their learning, they can get a better job when they finish learning. As I mentioned in the first paragraph, we need to master skills that are very basic when we were young like in primary so you have about 10 years or more to master public speaking. Afterten years, it is not acceptable to make excuses for lackingproficiency in public speaking. When you know a lot of techniques especially the ones that helps you learn how to make friends. When you know how to make friends, you have a way to benefityourself. When you mastered it you can go to the chattering class instead of staying in the silent majority. Most of time when you state your opinion your idea people well be accepted. After it is accepted you can find out you are benefited in a lot of ways and. And this technique applies to most of the schools which makes you benifited in many ways. Yet, most of people thinks that doing this makes students you enemy because your idea may not be able to benefit. Therefore, you are not popular in you classmates and get yourself in big troubles. How ever when you mastered this technique you can find out that it is also very easy to make friends in the silent majority and also your ideas can also give some other people benefit plus you are not the only one who give out the opinions so you can still find friends. Now school should teach skills because it benefitsstudents in three ways: social, economic and educational. Now in my opinion I believe learning this technique can benefit you in a huge way. After school teached this technique you can find out that you are benefited in most of the places and if you learn this technique in school, you will discover many benefits, as it can provide you with valuable shortcuts in various areas.
