Great detail has gone into the blacksmith shop set as it showcases a number of important scenes in the film. "We've painted the steps to show they are well-worn, as if grime is deeply ingrained from years of muddy boots walking on them," notes Head of Surfacing Sabrina Riegel. The stairs literally sag due to thoughtful modeling efforts, and the modelers also "paid careful attention to edges of tables and corners of structures because that tells so much about how old something is, or what material it is made from," adds Modeling Supervisor Matt Paulson.
