 26 Lesson 5 - Photobashing Basics Part 2 - The Basic Tools P26 - 00:01基本工具。 

  Alright guys, I’m actually super excited about this demo with photo bashing. I'm gonna run you through the basics and it's super fun way. First by running you through the absolute basics. And this will allow us to talk about all of the necessary tools that you're going to need to be able to photo bash. 

P26 - 00:22首先是构思。 

The first thing is that you need to actually know what you're trying to bash or what you're trying to do. In this case, for me, I'm just going to think of some of the Top things off my head. 我绘制什么，抓住脑海中图谱的重点。选择letter笔刷。我视觉化的绅士偏偏的鸟吃一沓煎饼。绘制出构思图来。I'm going to grab my again. Like, my letter brush, I really like birds. So here's a bird. I like birds. I really like pancakes. And that's also a very poorly drawn pancake. But I think today what i'll do is i'll draw a bash a photo bash a bird with a hat. So a gentleman bird enjoying a stack of pancakes. In terms of how I actually want my image to look. This is what I am envisioning in my head. I will have like a bird like this.  

P26 - 01:04画出鸟的头饰形状。 

Like a bird like this. So maybe he's like like this, or keeping it simple, so that we just stick with the basics. And he has a stack of pancakes right here. So this is a stack of pancakes. And he has this really cute Top hat on, just like that. A very simple image, very achievable, but let's get to it. 

P26 - 01:22第一件，谷歌搜索鸟。 

The first thing is Google images is my absolute favorite place to look for photos. I'm going to look up birds. Just going to go into images. And the first thing that I want to do when I go to images,选择筛选工具按钮，选择大尺寸，因为如果图片小，你的作品大，看起来不匹配。 I go to my tools button right here, and I go to size and then click large. Because you see in photo bashing, the size of your photo really matters. If it's too small, and your painting is going to be very big, but it's going to look all pixilated and gross. And nobody wants a pixilated gross image. Let's just take an example. Let me show you something that's really small.  

P26 - 01:56反面案例。 

let’s take this little bird is a 256 by 256, which is way too small. And if I put it on to my image, see how immediately it's so small in the page. So if I want to bring it up like this, it's gonna get bigger. Oh, my goodness! Look at that crunch! Look at the zoom in. This is what you want to avoid. When it comes to photo bashing, someone will be able to tell right away when the photo you use is way too small.  

P26 - 02:29重新选择。 

So we're going to delete it and banish it from our life, because we don't have room for ugly pixilated images in our life. Okay? Our life must be picture perfect. I’m going to be here to large. I’m get bird instead birds. And this one immediately sticks out to me, because it's kind of in the same position that my artwork is, as you can see, looks just like it. And I say perfect!找到一张和我构思的鸟同样姿态的，完美，And look at the size. The size is 1280 by 720. That's a pretty decent size. I like anything that is over a thousand. Preferably. So I go to my image here,右击复制粘贴到画布上。 I right click and I click copy image, I go to my canvas and I just copy paste, as you can see still, the photo is still a little bit small for what I prefer.  

P26 - 03:25复制鸟后如何调整？ 

But when I bump it up. You can see that there is not such a huge distortion. The pixels don't get that ugly.当我放大图片的时候，图片并没有扭曲。 So this kind of degree of enhancement is completely OK. Now, super quick before anything, if you click CTRL t, this will give you the transform tool. 快捷键Ctrl+T调出转化工具。意思是，变大变小。右击水平或垂直翻转，旋转80度，逆时针旋转，旋转自由角度，不满意，可以按叉键撤销。This allows you to make your image smaller, bigger, smaller, bigger. You can also right click and do flip horizontal. You can right click and click vertical, rotate hundred 80 degrees, counter clockwise, loop de loops, whatever you name it, you can rotate it. And if you don't like any of your changes, you can always go up here and click the x button. Or if you do like the changes, say, make it a little bit bigger and you move it over here, you like it. P26 - 04:30选择魔术工具。 

Now I choose my magic wand tool because I want to take this bird out of this photograph. And the first thing I usually do is photoshop at this point is smart enough to be able to tell usually what you're trying to select. So I go up here and I collect select subject. As you can see, your photoshop did a pretty good job selecting most of the birth. But there is still little aspects right here that I don't want photoshop to select. I want them to completely take out the entire sky. So this is where your lasso tool comes in handy. 这里鸟的尾巴支棱出来的，我想拿去中间的空隙部分。 

P26 - 05:00套索工具几个操作。 

Now there are a few select settings that you need to know about your lasso tool. First of all is this selection. This means that you only make one selection for your lasso tool, which means if you have a selection here already, if you make a new selection like this, and your old selection is completely gone, this is the second selection.如果你做新的套索选择，第二个套索选择画出来，第一个自动消失。 And this is the one that I use the most often, this is lasso plus, where if you have the original selection, you can add to this election. 套索加法概念是，一个套索内容不动，套索二三内容依次叠加。And it will continue to keep your own selection. 

P26 - 05:32套索减法。 

The next is lasso tool minus, which, as you can probably guess,顾名思义，从原始选择内容中，一点点的减少。 takes away from your original selection, which is exactly what I need to be able to get rid of this little piece of sky right here. 比如我把尾巴身体中空部分减去。So I can zoom in with my zoom button. I take my lasso subtract that I take out the remaining chalk just like that. I double check if there's anything else that I really need. 复查一遍，爪子我不需要，从套索内容中减去。I don't really need the claws. So I'm okay with it cutting into this a little bit. 完成套索减法Ctrl+J快捷键，给套索的选择做了备份。Now to completely take it out, I typically just click CTRL j. So control J, as you can see, what CTRL j does is a copy of my selection, 我保留了原始构思的副本，套索内容粘贴到副本上。puts it in the original location, and it keeps a copy of the old piece. So this is the layer of my old piece. And then this is just my selection right here. 

P26 - 06:30转化工具。 

I take my transform tool again, and I move my bird where I want him to be. So I moved him around right here. 把鸟移动到对应的位置。 

P26 - 06:41选择鸟戴的帽子。 

Now, the next step is to find a cool looking Top hat. However, if you just look up a hat, typically you'll find this kind of hat. And you can see that my bird currently is not in the same position as my hat. Let me show you what I mean.  

P26 - 06:52帽子款式对但是角度不对。 

比如鸟仰视的，戴帽子应该可以看到帽子内缘的，但是这照片看不到内里。So now my hat is a transparent little tool. I can put it on my bird like this, but it doesn't look right, because the perspective isn't right.  Let me explain to you. My bird is currently looking up, which means the perspective of my hat is that I should be able to see a little bit of the underneath of my hat. So it should actually look somewhat like this. The perspective of this hat is wrong. Therefore, you're gonna have to look for hats and other places.  

P26 - 07:31解决角度不对问题，找人戴的帽。 

In this case, one of my favorite things to do is to look for people actually wearing a hat. So here's a picture that I stole from the internet of Cara Delevingne wearing a hat. And I'm going to go on with my lasso tool and select out Cara Delevingne. Sorry, nothing personal. I just want your hat. Now she's gone.用套索工具移除女演员。只留下帽子。 I'm also going to get rid of the rest of her body by simply taking this hat up here and control j again. Now it's like my old layer.  

P26 - 07:59Ctrl J只保留帽子。 

And I have this hat ready to go with a little bit of a strange hole. But if I put it on to my bird like this. Put it right on Top, and then I lower the layer below my bird. And you can see something starting to happen. I'm going to move my hat into the proper location. 

P26 - 08:29填补帽子和鸟头之间空隙。 

And then all I have to do is fill in whatever gap is needed because the hat is mostly black. I'm just using a black brush to fill in the insights. 帽子是黑色的，用黑色刷子把空隙填成黑色。But if in the future you have a more complex whole and or you just don't feel like using a brush, 另一种借助AI自动填充操作，套索工具选择空隙，编辑 填充 内容。you can also use your lasso tool to select the area you want to change. Go up to edit, click fill, click content aware selection, click Ok. And photoshop will use AI to fill out the hole for you.  

P26 - 08:55头和帽子衔接线不平滑。 

You can see there's a really strange outline on my bird. So I'm just going to quickly take my eraser and roughly cut it out. 用橡皮擦擦到尽可能的平滑。It's not perfect, but at least takes away some of those really harsh edges. But now my bird has a hat. He's looking very dapper and very charming.衣冠楚楚的鸟做好了。给个吃饭桌子。 to give him a place to actually eat. Let's give him a table. 

P26 - 09:19桌子材质是什么？ 

But what if you only have the texture for a table? So here's my wooden panel. Oh, no! Whatever shall I do? Do not worry. 如何平面桌子摊平了放？右击 视角，拖拽到摊平放的视角。because all you have to do is right click and you click perspective, and then you drag it out like this. Let me actually make this smaller. So you can see fully what's going on, change it smaller, control T, right click, perspective. You can see it's starting to bend in space. And my table is taking shape.  

P26 - 09:59调整桌子？ 

You can also select the skew tool which allow you to excuse certain corners like this. 可以右键歪曲，调节桌子四角。还可以选择扭曲，变异性和幅度比歪曲大一些。You can also select distort, which is essentially skew, but with a lot more variety and crazier options.右键视角调整不同点的方向。And then perspective only allows you to change their perspective of different sites. This is where I want now. So you can see that the wood grains feel that they are in perspective. Now he can finally sit down and eat.  

P26 - 10:49吃什么？煎饼。 

But what shall he eat? That's right. Pancakes. I go to my magic wand and I collect select subject, photoshop did a pretty good job, but I want the syrup here. 我选择魔棒 选择对象，PS选择工具做的非常好，选到糖浆。这里汇总几种套索方案。I'm going to show you a few different types of lasso tool.  

P26 - 11:08套索汇总。 

Currently we're using our stereotypical standard lasso tool. If you go up to the lasso tool, you press and hold, you will be able to achieve the polygonal lasso tool, 直接点击按住左侧套索工具，获得的是多边形套索，可以做直线。which allows you to do with straight lines. So I can go as straight as I want. This is fantastic for doing hard surface photo bashing,因为我想套索糖浆。 because I want to get this little piece of syrup. 我选择磁性套索，However, I can choose the magnetic lasso tool. The magnetic lasso tool uses AI and photoshop to kind of guess where you want to make your selection. So you have to work a little bit less. However, it's not always very accurate. So I personally don't like to use it that much. To be very clear. I am not pressing down on the canvas at all. My pen is hovering above my tablet and photoshop is doing this election for me. I click control. And this will close the selection for me. 实际上我的画笔停留在笔记本上方，点击Control, 这样PS替代我们完成。Just like that. Photoshop has helped me select out a beautiful stack of pancakes. 

P26 - 12:10绿色草莓的叶子。 

and you're thinking, Airi, what about those green spots? On the strawberry? You forgot the leaves. It's okay. I don't eat the strawberry leaves anyway. That looks so good. In fact, it looks so good. He looks like he's enjoying himself so much. I'm just gonna give him a little bit to fully enjoy his pancakes with. 

P26 - 12:38围嘴。 

You can see the bib is floating away from the bird a little bit too much. I want the bib to be closer to his body, so I can collect my transform. And then I select my warp tool. And now I can work it to whatever direction and shape I want.如何让飘飞的围嘴贴近身体？右键变形工具，让围嘴尖垂直贴身。 I take this and I worked ever so slightly downwards.像是晚礼服围嘴帖服在鸟脖子上。 So now the bib fully tux on to the bird's neck. Now my bird has a bib. 

P26 - 13:12给一个背景。 

I want to give him a background. I want him to be able to eat somewhere nice. Cause my boy here, he's just sitting here eating in white space. That's kind of sad.  

P26 - 13:25如何自动挑选漂亮背景。 

Let me show you something that is super cool. That is so new. Only two years ago, this didn't exist. I'm just thinking of like the most generic thing ever. Let's say this image. Let's have a bird eat to this beautiful sky right here. I copy paste by sky and what if I don't like my sky? This is the coolest thing ever I literally learned this only a few days ago myself. This is something that came with photoshop 2020. And because we're now in photoshop 2021, it got a little better. 功能从2020开始的。 

P26 - 13:57自动变换背景。 

编辑 天空置换，You go to edit go all the way down to sky replacement, photo shop can actually edit out the entire sky for you. Isn't that insane?不仅仅可以无中生有天空，而且可以调节温度。 You can also change the temperature of your sky. If you change the scale, you can adjust the brightness. It's absolutely crazy. Look at this. I can do anything I want.比如想要彩虹这有，比如云彩，有。 Do you want a rainbow? done. You want these kind of clouds? done. You want this? done. This is the coolest thing ever. And I love playing around with this. I like these clouds a lot. I'm gonna click okay. And you can see that. 

P26 - 14:42新图层调整天空用的。 

it created this brand new layer that helps me adjust my sky. But if I like everything, all I have to do is shift click. Right click, merge layers. 如果我喜欢所有的调整，shift头尾，右键 融合图层。And now my sky is ready. 

P26 - 14:57天空做好了。 

天空图层在底层，铺满屏幕。 I drive all the way beneath. Then I make it super big. Now my bird is eating pancakes in the middle of the sky with this little bit. It's incredible. We made this. Well, actually I made this. But once you make your own, then you have made this too. We have our little bird.
