铜合金的分类方法有三种：

按合金

按合金系划分，可分为非合金铜和合金铜.非合金铜包括高纯铜、韧铜、脱氧铜、无氧铜等，习惯上，人们将非合金铜称为紫铜或纯铜，也叫红铜，而其他铜合金则属于合金铜。我国和俄罗斯把合金铜分为黄铜、青铜和白铜，然后在大类中划分小的合金系。
